A lot of the ambience is me just messing with random guitar noises and reversing it with boatloads of reverb, but sometimes I'll use a pad synth for a similar sound
But according to Calle and Daniel (guitarists in Vildhjarta) "pretty thall" would just be regular old djent. The thing that separates the two of them is the fact thall is dark and moody. Sorry for the "umm, akshully 🤓" ass comment, just that I happened to read an article recently on the topic of thall and Calle & Buster were breaking down key points and aspects about the sound. That was still dope though
Saying the difference between thall and djent is that thall is dark and moody is like saying that the difference between rowboats and sailboats is that sailboats float on water
@@NoMitherNoProblem Whatever, dude. Just going off of what the dudes who literally came up with the shit (thall) defined it as, so take it up with them
Don't know any with this exact aesthetic, but Karmanjakah have a few tracks that venture into "uplifting thall" territory ("Breathing" is a good starting point I think). Glaciers might also be a band to check out, on that darker side but has some really cool use of cleans over heavy riffs.
your guitar djently weeps. This is FIRE
Bro comment is crazy good😂
New invent animate dropped??
thx algorithm for this absolute banger of a song
this is a really cool song you've invented here! i love how animated it makes me feel
least trippy thall effect: 0:40
The band Karmanjakah does this stuff really well
huge ERRA vibes!! that 2 finger tapping bit at the end was beautiful too
ERRA, is that u?
This is such a banger. I love the metalcore tapping influences and those bends and high notes on the begging just sound so great, thall bro
Erra but more Thall
A cheerful ambient metalcore song
Those schecter omens look so plain. But everytime i see them they are always incredible tracks. I know when i see one its gonna slap
I bet this sounds just as good without distortion.
Yeah this is the kinda shit I absolutely fucking love.
I wouldnt call this THALL, but its a fucking sick riff dude. Reminds me way more of After The Burial or ERRA.
tapping part is sick
This is for Invent Animate song is cheerful, loud, calm, angelic, ambient, riff, breakdown, tapping and singer
Hell yeah, brother.... THALL (butpretty)
Loathe moment
May I request tabs, my lord?
Maybe in the future...
this is literally periphery
or plini in the end

Algorithm brought me I think. You might be getting popular.
This was beautiful ♥
the ambience guitar part reminded me of old Invent Animate, did you used MIDI to produce it? the whole video is insane
A lot of the ambience is me just messing with random guitar noises and reversing it with boatloads of reverb, but sometimes I'll use a pad synth for a similar sound

Thall is Djent for people who like to add minor second intervals with distortion in between their 0-0-0-0s. It's the same fucking thing
Sounds good I’ll call up Filled Jorties on the tele right now and tell them their invention is stupid and they should reinvent it
subbed, superb playing.
Invent animate vibes
Thank you Mr djentymcdjentface
so good what daw do u use?
I tend to use Reaper usually
this is really tight
this rocks!!!
It’s just missing the breakdown at the end please!!!!!!
Still finishing the track, so maybe I'll add one in...
