The great thing about CZcams is that Oliver will be able to refer back and say "but you did it " !!
Every new video that has come out since the baby came has me thinking…. Wow… you guys did sooo much work on content development in that last trimester.
We were certainly busy! It got a little bit harder the more pregnant I got. 😂
@@AmbitionStrikes the truly wild part of that ride is still ahead for you as your child first learns to communicate then walk and talk back to you. You will be entertained for years to come, I'm sure! This child is the biggest most ambitious project you are likely to ever undertake -, and I can think of none I know who are better tempered and equipped to do this up right! The ATV is this winter's project and a worthy one- I can see Riley's Reckless genes roaring around in it already!
A wedding vow that you'd go on every Craigslist Adventure with Riley, wow that is amazing!
He's a good man, I bet, if you cannot go because of something out of your control, he's going to help you keep that promise! You guys rock!
Courtney's laughter was so cute!!!! Riley and his toys, Oliver will be having lots of fun with daddy♥
lol nice boat. To make sure you don't get ticketed later make sure to throw your whistle, life jackets, etc in the back.
Making an eight-wheel drive ATV electric? One thing is certain: Oliver will never have time to be bored! And neither do we 😁👍
Interesting project! One important challenge: You’ll need to keep the weight the same so that it can still float, and won’t sink further into snow and mud. Electric vehicles can be heavy.
Started with an all terrain, then you both slayed the road with the CAT and then the ice with snow blower and now water. I think the next one is going to be a single prop plane
I hope not. The ground is very unforgiving! We’ve started to feel like grandparents to these kids. Let’s not do the plane thing.
How fun!! 20 minute episode of you 2 smiling ear to ear the whole time is great!!
The best part of this video is all the joy and laughter you two experienced while experimenting w your new toy! I'm glad you guys bought yourselves something fun. Looking forward to see what you make of it
Just found you two, and you're now my favorite channel. Look forward to catching up with all your great content. People like you two keep the cable bill away. Thanks!
made me think Riley may have lost his toy to the smiling Courtney...sorry Dad.
Congratulations Riley and Courtney! ! ! We are all looking forward to your adventures with your new toy. And yes, a baby seat is a necessity. The places you'll go and the things you will see with your new toy. WOW
So, if Riley says "I'm going to go wash the ARGO", that means he is going to the lake and let the lake do the washing!!!! That thing looks like so much fun! Also I think they make a track conversion for snow.
You two are something else. Oliver is going to have so much fun growing up. What adventures await. Thanks for sharing
These use to be popular in New Zealand in the 90s, but due to the high maintenance of the chains most went back to ATVs, keep an eye on the shaft seals and keep up with the maintenance on the chains and you can't go wrong, interested to see what you power it with, All the best with this project
yes they are very high maintenance. I still have an old six x six and our squad had an 8x8. Drive belts, fuel pumps and chains were issues.
Hi Courtney & Riley! Love the new machine! Love the wedding vows Courtney! Riley is like a kid in a candy shop😅! Courtney’s laugh is priceless while riding in the machine!🙏🙏🙏Blessing’s
Rich Rebuilds made one all-electric, I am excited to see your take on the project.
I LOVE that you are going electric on this one... Looking forward to see you make that goal
Well you know what they say, Work hard and Play Harder You guys deserve a break, but I can’t wait to see the build and have you really gave it any thought about two videos a week❤
Love you guys you’re awesome. Jim
When you said that you were going to cut it apart, I thought OH NO!!!! Don't destroy that awesome machine. But at the end where you said you guys were going to convert it to electric, I felt better and have to agree with that. Looking forward for the conversion videos.
That’s awesome you two. Something you might want to look at and you two probably could build are tracks for the Argo. I’m up in northern lower Michigan and people have them up here. Once they put tracks on they will go anywhere!! If you check they also make Windshields back seats and inclosers for them to. Have fun with it but be careful!!!
I rebuilt an old Hustler 6x6. That Argo looks to be in really good shape. With all of the snow you guys get, tracks will be a worthy investment.
I was going to say that if you get the middle of it high centered you will loose traction and stop moving. But then you did it. Just be careful about deep mud because that can happen. You know Riley, everything has a limit. If you roll that thing without a cage you'll be stuck under it.
I have watched you two for almost a year. You work GREAT together and I am sooooo glad you got a TOY !
Whoa!! Didn’t expect that twist!!! Yes all electric!!! That would be awesome!!
This is an awesome vehicle and video. And it seems Riley ALWAYS gets stuck, no matter what he is driving which is hilarious. But I know he always wants to push any vehicle to see what it can do. This was an extremely fun video to watch!!!
You guys got something fun! My buddy Mark has one of these, he went down to the bobcat repair shop and got some tracks to go over the tires...it works 10x better on land & water. We also have floats on the sides that you use for kayaks mounted, they give you a little more stability and it's a great place to carry a cooler and extra poles 😉
A few people watching from the dock and over 100k watching on the income stream.
You guys have arrived in the CZcams top tear of channels. Congratulations on realizing your effort.
I am working to launch my CZcams channel.
Looks like a great project. With the batteries you may be able to get the balance further back so it will handle better in the water. Well done and thanks. Jim Bell (Australia)
Anything that makes a couple keep non-stop smiling for that long is definitely worth buying!
Those are so COOL. Used one on an Alaskan trip a few years ago, thing went through almost anything. Have fun, I am sure you will adapt and improve it.
A new baby boy and another new toy!
You two are just livin' the dream!!
Congratulations on it all!
Love from BC.
Argo Warning: I used to operate one of these for my former employer. They can indeed be a lot of fun. Part of our mandatory training for operating this went over the usual, however one thing that stuck in my mind is the clear "Do not drive on clear/dry asphalt or concrete". Apparently, the torque created at full throttle can snap an axle at the stationary wheels if they are unable to easily spin on the horizontal axis. We were told that the friction of even clean dry asphalt or concrete was enough to cause issues. This was training based off the of the manufacturer's recommendations to only operate in sand, gravel, rock, water, etc. where the braked side can easily slide while the drive side is engaged forward. Just thought I'd share, might be worth looking into. Although if you did break it, I'm sure you all could fix it better anyways. 🙂
Get tracks on it for deep snow or you will be getting it stuck! They are worthless without tracks in deep snow.
Also this doesn’t have the optional skid plates under it. You will destroy the plastic underbody fast if you don’t get those.
With Alaskan Bush tracks you will go where sleds can't even go and no ATV will ever follow you!! These things are real workhorses from getting firewood to hunting to fishing and much much more 🙂
You guys are like 2 little kids! ❤❤ Your kids will have a blast with you and your toys!!
Riley we have watched you work you butt off with the Dozer, it is nice to see you having so much fun!!!
one thing this channel does well..... variety! awesome guys.... your little one is going to be one lucky bambino, growing up learning man skills from mum, and dad jokes... from dad. awesome. good luck
If anybody can do it y’all can! Don’t forget a ROLL BAR , SEATBELTS, and LIFE JACKETS! When you do it.
“Just saying “ I can’t wait 😊
my neighbor had one of these back in the early 70s.
it was a blast!
Well that's a new way to parallel park to get some ice cream!
Looks like it's in pretty great condition.
I love the idea of making it electric!
Not so thrilled about the bench seat with no belts, but I'm sure that's on your minds (Courtney) as well.
Roll cage?
Could provide some cargo options as well as safety.
It will be interesting to see this contraption's internals.
It’s like a mini (and much more affordable) Sherp! When does the baby seat get installed? Enjoy the fun toy!
If you drive it like a bike, does that mean Oliver can drive it once he can ride a bike? 😉
Sherp and Argo merged 1 to 2 years ago. Sherp needed Argo's North American network of dealers and shops to sustain an "affordable" North American presence hence the merge.
My parents let me loose on the 3 wheeler alone at 5 and I didn't crash so it should be fine...
I love the pure, unbridled joy this gives you both.
That looked like a blast 🎉. The conversion of a partially water vehicle to electric could be shocking. So be careful with the separation of electricity and water. Consider a back propeller if weight distribution stays the same to amplify water speeds.
I know the place you launched you're new toy into the lake.
We share the same stomping grounds. I am sure one day we will meet.
You are a capable and creative couple that appears to work well together.
I have followed you from the beginning of your overlanding vehicle.
My thoughts are, your channel is in the process of exploding to a million subscribers.
👍💪😎
they are a ton of fun we had a small boat motor attached to the back of ours for water crossings
Let ask , anybody enjoying this couple as much as I do, I just want to c Riley's face, and Courtney just being there with him, just like two little kids having fun together 😂😂😂😂🇯🇲🇯🇲
That thing looks like a lot of fun can't wait to see what you're doing with it
BEST VIDEO EVER!! Can't wait to see the conversion! It's going to be dope!!! Why lie!!!
Argos are incredible. Make sure you get the canopy shelter/top at some point. WORTH every penny! We used one with search and rescue and it's amazing. They don't go fast, but they never stop GOING!!!!
We as a family have an Argo, get the tracks then u can go anywhere. We use it in the sugar sand in ocala forest.
Very cool! Add some tracks and it will really go anywhere. Guy in Alaska makes cool tracks out of conveyor belts to put on these. CZcamsr OstaCruiser added Alaska tracks on his Argo. Lots of fun for sure. I have a CanAm Defender 6x6 Limited on order. Can't wait for it to arrive!
Looked like the rear passenger side was throwing water off the spare and into the inside of the Argo. Does it have an automatic bilge? You could easily integrate a 112 lbs thrust trolling motor into your plans also! Does your state have a dual land/water craft license? A cool Lowrance display pad/screen for GPS on land and water is an idea! Bimini top for sunny day fishing trip/jeep trail excursions! Cast and go fast!
This experience had Courtney _way_ passed her usual chuckling!
Converting into an electric vehicle is such a great idea! I was thinking that when you first started it up.
When it in the water, how does it propel itself and steer? I didn't see a propeller nor a rudder.
Riley was like a kid on Christmas Day who can’t wait to play with his new toy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Oh Courtney there could never be a dull minute in your life with that Husband of yours his smile and laugh is infectious you both brighten my day when I have breakfast with you here in Adelaide ,it's the best start to my day thank you
Cheers Kym
Adelaide
Did you guys buy that vehicle in Moses Lake ? That big shop looks like a friends place.
This was really fun and promises to be an exciting series. I especially loved the scenes of the familiar Sandpoint beach and downtown for ice cream! One of our family favorites for over 50 years. Thank you for planning such interesting content while you are on Maternity/Paternity break. I Love it!❤
You’re just a big kid😂 and that thing looks like a lot of fun. Look forward to seeing what you’re gonna do with it in the future. Mike from Montreal.
Too much awesome!. I was half expecting the comments to be full of "life vests!" and other comments, but man I am so jealous and can't wait for this project, and more road building.
Y’all could have gotten a really big ticket. No life jackets and no fire extinguisher in the boat! Lol
Catching up on your videos since the Van Wife’s recommend your channel. Now this video was a enormous laugh as soon as you got your hands on this vehicle I thought this is going to make me laugh for a while which it did. Laughter is the best medicine, I love your medicine xx
You'll need a snow track for that thing come next winter.
Hope it serves you well.
Wide track kit for winter is a must, then you will see it's snow traction capability.
You guys saved great stuff for us while you're on hiatus thank you.
Nice jump, closing on 320K. I think they make tracts for them too. EV would be so cool.
What a vehicle or 2! Remember, safety first. Thanks for an exciting time. I'm getting old so probably wouldn't even get on it but it does look fun. What about a car seat space? Guess you will build one. See ya.
Argos 8x8’s are amazing vehicles…. But now you need the over the tire tracks for it makes it Evan more capable and “almost impossible” to get stuck
Hi Guys..
That was Great..
The best thing I saw was the Smile on both your faces..
Priceless!!!!
But… I bet your Smile is even bigger with the new little one…
Thank you for sharing your adventures and your life with us.
God Bless you…
Stay safe and always be kind..
Cheers to life…
Love Riley's concentration face when flying the drone haha Awesome channel, big fan!
Ice Cream was the best ending you could do to this video!
This was so much fun!! Courtney you laughed the whole time lol You two are a special couple - love it x
What a great toy that is. I once got a trip in one of those on The Isle of Lewis off the North West of Scotland across a grouse moor to fish a remote loch driven by one of the gamekeepers. What a day that was. Pity we didn't take it into the loch and use it as a boat to fish from.
Electrifying it is exactly what I was thinking it needed from the beginning haha! Things fricking awesome!
That would be so cool to have. I think I would want a cab on it to keep me warm and dry. Can’t wait to see the end project
Your excitement is infectious. I am along for the ride, What fun.
Riley is like a little kid with a new toy 😅.
When you unloaded from the trailer I immediately saw an opportunity for skid plates, seat belts and a roll cage. To do it so it still floats will be the challenge.
Awesome new toy. You guys are the reason I went down the rabbit hole of looking for a FMTV M1083, wanting to convert it to a camper. Loved your Barndamonium and solar build series. Waiting to see what you're up to next.
One thing for sure, there are some good features to this Argo make. Although it could get hung up in snow banks, It maybe the only all terrain vehicle that will make it though mud without getting stuck. Moreover, being able to swim across water ways.
You can put a small outboard motor on some models. Sit in the back and run the out board.
To me the most amazing aspect of these two is the things they do with out any visible means of financial support.
Riley and Courtney: Tracks are available to place over your 8x8 wheels🙂
Enjoy!!!! !!!!
Thank you for sharing the fun you had with that, I'm just laughing and grinning almost as much as you Riley!
OMG! I didn't think I would be ROFDL.. you guys threw me a curve ball with this video.. glad to see you're able to still remember to have fun! I think it will be interesting to see if the electric conversion will give you both power and range.. without excessive [battery] weight that would cause a obvious change in stability and COG. But for the moment.. that WAS a fun, zany, silly, refreshing video.. to remind all the rest of us that having fun isn't illegal!
I'm excited about electrifying the Argo! I'm sure you have it all planned out - will be fun to see which components you choose!
Good morning Courtney, Riley and Oliver! What a cool new fun toy! Don't forget the pole holders and oar locks just incase you want to catch fish and don't want to troll. Your sense of adventure always makes me smile. Courtney we now know what was added to your wedding vows, but what was added to Riley's vows? Looking forward to the conversion video. Have an amazing Sunday
That will be an hell of an cool project. Loved how you both were grining ear to ear made my day .i Hope you all doing well
and enjoy your family life and the spring weather.
Love it. Guessing this video was shot in pre-Ollie days? Now you need a Rokon to go with it.
You guy's are awesome what an amazing toy ! Can't wait to get started on this project!!!
Great purchased of that machine guys.
Can’t wait till you discover tracks and a small outboard motor
So cool! We had a 6 wheeler. Most fun was getting an unsuspecting passenger that didn’t know it was also a boat! Like my girlfriend 😅 who is now my wife. She freaked when I splashed in the lake!😂😂 Google Banana Splits! Show from the 70’s had a 6 wheeler on the show.
Seeing that house @2:18 reminds of my new next door neighbor here in South Carolina that just built a 5000 square foot Barndominium. It is about 2/3 residential and 1/3 shop with four or five garage doors on it.
I can't help but to laugh. You two are so cute. I love your adventurous spirits. I know that you will have fun with the new build facing all the challenges with grit and determination. I can't wait to go on the journey with you. Thanks for sharing!
mount the spare horizontal low in the back with an electric mower. my patent turns your spare into a gyroscopic stabilizer. then put a nice aluminium tray on the back for your needs. i would also suggest a 100mm aluminium tube on each side of it with rams so when you go in the water you can extend outriggers for stability. they will also act as fenders in the bush. you might also want a roll bar.
I had an old late 1970's model Argo with the original CAT type steering (2 sticks, 1 for left, 1 for right) a foot type brake pedal and a motorcycle like throttle on the right side steering stick....I used it for hunting and fishing, and just regular shenanigans, you guys are going to absolutely love your new toy, all it really needs is a baby seat....and I think you should dub it " 1 Bubble Off" just for Riley...lol....peace out, from Doc, in the Great White North of southern Ontario, Canada.
Looks pretty fun! Drives to town to wash off all the dirt and mud, gets it muddy and dirty driving back to Ambition Mountain!
The more you drive it on pavement.. the shorter tire life. Gonna need that tread!
Have fun!😀
Jet ski it... hum. I used to hunt with a six wheeler. Super fun and take you places like no other.
COOL! Another project. This should be fun to watch and learn from you two! Be well, be safe!
I don't comment here generally but felt compelled to.
We see Riley smiling and laughing regularly not so much Courtney. It warmed me to see the huge smiles and deep laughter on her.
