About the game:
Instruments of Destruction features an advanced physics-based destruction system. You can demolish every structure in the game piece by piece. In addition, every object you see in the game world--save for small decorative plants and rocks--is part of the physics system. Each element of the world interacts with each other and together they create a physical, visceral world to play with.
Build Your Vehicle
Build a vehicle your way, with an ever-expanding array of parts and pieces. Using an intuitive vehicle construction system that also lets you customize your vehicles' appearance and controls, you'll always have fun creating your next awesome invention.
From simple splitters to advanced joints, a variety of parts slowly unlock as you play through the game, and each unlocks countless new possibilities.
While some vehicles will perform better than others in accomplishing your objectives, it's always a bit more fun to get creative and go a little off script. Optional bonus challenges and objectives will reward more creative builders and add more replayability.

Day 7: You should try a space dogfight, basically use mods for zero gravity, and make a space fighter with no blocks from the wing section(to simulate lack of atmosphere). The only method of control would be thrusters. Nighttime is optional, and set a power core and block limit. I believe that it could be fun and challenging.

@@jamesTBurke I did see a zero gravity battle bots episode, but a full blown 2v2 dogfight in same conditions would change up the feel quite a bit i believe
That T-5 mech is probably the best walker I have ever seen across any physics/builder game! Pointy did a great job with it, and I'm glad you saw it and choose it to show off.

I think Sillypede is the best thing I've seen in this game. Extremely true to its name, amazing description, and it does waddle. 10/10

I would love to see scrap, and all the friends make overly complex creations and show them off. Spend a good week or something making the best creation you can. Could be a cool complex video👏
please conduct a mock interview with the brilliant mind behind squid boy and ask him questions about squid boy and battle beetle. find out the lore and his inspiration for the making of squidboy, to really appreciate his geniuses.

Speaking of piston walkers/mechs , I’ve bought titanfall 2 two days ago and piloting the mech is so fun, I got it on sale for around 3 bucks, definitely worth playing
I figure the changes to the buildings calculations might actually be helping with the frames some, cause it has overall ran better since that day. Granted he likely optimized some stuff too

5:55 - As far as I know, there are two main directions earthquakes move vertically & horizontally, might be able to do both.
First person looks cool because the fov of the Camera is different

Instruments of Destruction is still on my Steam wishlist; I need a new computer first. The ornithopter would be an interesting thing to try to recreate in Scrap Mechanic or Trailmakers, as would Squid Boy.
The walker is insane. And yes, it definitely looks better in first person... and would also be a good candidate for a Scrap Mechanic or Trailmakers re-creation.

Maybe some of the less instrument-of-destruction-y creations were working less than ideally because of the map you were on? if the island isn't truly flat, that could do some of what you saw...

Things start to slow down when things get compacted in the game. It seemed not to slow down when there's more space in-between the particles after a demolition.
i feel like instead of a hero or villain the T7 heavy gatling mech is an instrument of war like a jeager from pacific rim

I feel like IOD Workshop and build videos of Scrapman's, more of the IOD above TM and SM, is less of the best builds and more of people just breaking Scrapman's understanding of the game in general.
First person does lock more realistic.
