Okay so... I'm auditioning for Allstate in chorus soon... I got a 19 on mock auditions, which is literally just points from sight reading. I got 0 on scales and solo. I'm a soprano. Help.
I’ve come to realize how lucky we are, I go to school where Johnny Carson donated a ton of money to build a theatre that connects to our school so we get to do all our theatre there. It’s seats 1234 people(that’s not a made up number either) and it’s one of the best in the state. We get to do productions like this every year and have a great lights and sound system. We hosted state one acts this year and I got to meet people from very small schools that were blown away by our theatre because they were used to using fuse boxes for lights and things like that. Like I said I’ve come to realize how lucky I am to attend a school with a theatre program as great as ours😅
The 8th grade one feels like what you would expect at a school play (nothing wrong with that just a more beginner play) The high school one feels like what you expect to get out of a high class play in a big theater. Real great work on that voice 👌🏻
Personally I would not have cast her as Ursula either times. I imagine though there wasn’t another person who could sing as well. Her voice is good but not really built for that role (or Mother Gothel as everyone else is saying). Now her acting ability onstage definitely improved. She held herself with a lot more umpf…more Ursula lol. I think using her normal timbre will probably get her farther on the stage. Which she’s already on if I understand correctly.
Bro I just did the same show at the same place!!!!! I was Ursula as well! Everyone constantly still talks about her and gave me tips based on her performance! 😁 Very inspirational!
Dude the "go ahead, make your choice!!" On both parts is SO AWESOME!! how did she make it sound so good in two totally different ways?!? ITS SO GOOD IVE WATCHED IT 1,000,000,000 TIMES
why is it that anyone who plays ursula in school plays sounds amazing. i saw the little mermaid play and the high school my mother works at and i was IN LOVE with ursula’s actress’ voice
Her voice is truly amazing every time I hear her singing voice it just makes my skin shiver of how amazing and beautiful it is truly amazing at her age.💕

That's what I was thinking!!
@@crazycatlady2310 it’s not a school play, it’s a very high budget youth theater, I do plays there sometimes, beautiful place

Real great work on that voice 👌🏻
Amazing
I know her irl, she played Carrie in Carrie the musical and omg, it was beautiful, she can send shivers down your spine with her voice
Wait you actually know her. That must be really luck. I hope she’s nice, she has a lot of talent.
Why do people keep liking this?
even just from this video, her voice already sent shivers down my spine, she must be amazing damn
How do we know that's really her voice, not one she stole off someone else in exchange for a pair of legs? 😜
Who is she? I'd love to listen to her more?
I'm sorry, Carrie; the MUSICAL???
Are we talking about the movie based on the book by Stephen King??? With the pigs blood??? I must go Google this...
At the start she sounds like rupanzel
I can't unhear it
I was just thinking that
YAS
Bruh
Dang. What an accurate comment.
the cry in “poor” in the first clip gave me chills- i love when some people do that with their voice!
Both of the “poor unfortunate soul”s send shivers.
her voice at the start is beautiful even if it doesn’t fit ursula as much , she sounds like a princess
Personally I would not have cast her as Ursula either times. I imagine though there wasn’t another person who could sing as well. @🤍🖤lil The text clearly says shes in 'Eighth grade' not that she's actually eight, so she'd be closer to around 13 or 14
@shutupdude it says 8th grade 💀
@shutupdude so she's like 13-14
@@tea3769 still pretty young and barely post puberty if she has got yet at all. And puberty changes your voice no matter the gender. So yeah.
I've listened to the first "Come on you poor unfortunate soul" at least 10 times, and it hasn't gotten old yet.
same I can't stop replaying it 😭
yeah i really love how she says it, as well as “the way” in the eighth grade ver.!
I liked your comment just for your profile pic it’s beautiful 🤣
ME TOO
It is beautiful
The “gOah AHeadD”
Was breathtaking ❤
I liked it at well ☺️
In 8th grade she could have played such an amazing Ariel
That first "you poor unfortunate soul" sounds so pretty
Ikrr
thought the first clip was already great then I got chills as soon as the second started

I got goosebumps from her glowup voice. You will go far with that voice.
Her performance has been stuck in my head all day 😭 we love her
How many times did you watch this?

Like 50 times LOL
HOW IS SHE SO GOOOOD?!?!?!
Practice lots and lots of practice
@@XiAb3lla But In such a short amount of time??? She's so talented
I honestly thought it said 3rd grade and idkw
@@arcadesrstillcool3778 she definitely was blessed with the talent but she definitely has had alot of training and stuff :) in a nice way btw
Likely vocal coaches though out the years, and natural talent and practice
She will do broadway !! Thai girl has a serious incredible future
Dude ur voice is like a freaking goddess compared to the 8th graders at my school tho 💀💀💀💀💀
I like the characterization in the second rendition, but it's so hard to understand what she's saying. The first is much clearer.
to be fair the audio is way worse - it's echoing on the way to the mic
I'm pretty sure it's due to the recording on that one
Yes I agree with u . I thought it was an old lady the second time round
its more accurate to the character she's playing tho
Bro I think u all deaf cuz it’s pretty easy
Okay but her 8th grade singing is underrated!! Senior too, but 8th grade was impressive!
I actually went to see that play her senior year. Her voice was incredible and very balanced! They all did amazing
"You poor unfortunate soul" for the first one gave me the chills
“HAVEN’T got all day.” On the second time she said that, I got chills.
Edit: WTH.. 2.1k?

i listened to the first one being like damn i could NEVER sound like that and then i heard the second one- my jaw just dropped.
Same ✋😭
Bruh, I had to rate your comment.
DAMN THIS IS AMAZING♥️
Ugh the “just- your voice!” Gives me chills every time I see this video
the second thing she said after the first you poor unfortunate soul of the senior sent chills down my spines
Man on the second one I could imagine her being Mother Gothel in Rapunzel for some reason
AND IN THE BEGGINING SHE SOUNDS LIKE RAPUNZELLL
Them: well what were expecting?
Me: I WELL NOT THIS, WHAT WERE YOU EXPECTING MORE ???
Hearing her senior voice gave me chills!
It's so cute and wholesome watching this random person react to another random person's growth.
Not only am I jealous of the theatre and costumes, I am violently jealous of their voice!
Her voice on "its sad" in the second version sounds like it melts into the instrumental and its so cool
My friend played Ursula in 5th grade and she was so good everyone that plays Ursula really deserves it.
please we need the full performances im bouncing off the walls 🤧💕
That “make your choice!” Was so good
I feel like in every play-version of The Little Mermaid Ive seen, the person who plays Ursula *always* absolutely nails the performance
I could hear the giggle in the first "just your voice" it was awesome
I love how the teacher is still seeing the best in her when she was younger. This is the kind of teacher ever vocal performer needs 🙌
omg i know her! we went to the same theatre company. was not expecting to see her come up while scrolling thru youtube 😂
whats her name?? has she done any musicals i can watch ?
Same question
When she sings this song the whole stage belongs to her 💖
i swear I see this video every month but it never fails to give me chills
I like the first “Just your voice” better but I like the second EVERYTHING other than that better!
Bro I just did the same show at the same place!!!!! I was Ursula as well! Everyone constantly still talks about her and gave me tips based on her performance! 😁 Very inspirational!
That “Make your choice!” was so powerful
I literally can’t stop watching this.
In her senior year her voice was so mature it’s so satisfying 😩
At first I read it as: “watch this vecna glow up” ive been watching way too many stranger things shorts 💀
You don’t need anyone else’s voice when you have a strong voice like that slay queen
bro I got good goosebumps like 3 times listening to her senior year vocals, PHENOMENAL transformation!
the first “poor unfortunate soul” itches my brain.
I watched this so many times
Her voice is just so good 😊

You went to a school play?
✨GOOSEBUMPS ✨
both of them gave me chills! what an amazing voice
When she sung “poor unfortunate soul” in the senior year one, I got chills.
IM GETTING GOOSEBUMPS RIGHT NOW ITS AMAZINGGG
Wasn't there one where it was a boy that had to take the role as Ursula🤔 he sang like an angel
I’m literally getting goosebumps that was amazing at the end but at the start it kinda sounded like Ariel 😂
The second part at first I thought it was a soundtrack In the background not the actual voice- omg props to her!!
Literal chills that’s absolutely amazing. As a fellow theater kid the sheer stage presence is amazing and that voice!! Wow!! ❤
That is genuinely magnificent how much this person improved
She ate that up 😌🔥
I'm totally not crying now because that was my one of my dream roles and I just got ensemble in my senior year of high school for this show.
CHILLS IN BOTH CLIPS OMG SLAYYY
Crazy to watch someone’s voice grow up like that
oh ma god. i literally went to this exact show. my cousin was in the ensemble. this is really weird
her voice is so angelic in both plays
The costumes are SO GOOD
