I was wondering if I'd be able to attach a monitor arm to this desk and you can! i'm glad i clicked on this video. I'm going to check this desk out tomorrow!
i'm glad i clicked on this video for same reason bro...
@@gorbifps same xD
@@ultrasone8450 i bought the desk and the metal part flexes a bit but its still good, its so good...
Yes you can! Just keep the mount in the middle were the metal frame is in the center of the mesh.
Can one attached a dual monitor arm to this desk? I have 2 31.5in monitors and I’m wondering if this will hold or if I should just buy 2 single monitor arms.
Dude, you look so nice, you gave me contagious smiling! Thanks for the review, bought the desk, very satisfied... You helped a lot.
Thanks ☺️
I really appreciate the comment, cause I'm so not used to being in front of the camera. I'm very self-conscience as well. Have a good one!
Hello, I want to ask the iron grille behind the table, is it stable?! 🤔
Stable enough to hold my monitor arm (in the center metal bar) holding a 28" 4K monitor, my M1 Mac mini, 2 speakers, My Sony a7s on a pole stand and some decoration props. The mesh itself is flimsy, but it will NOT break. It is very durable.
Awesome review. Was checking youtube as i want to get one tomorrow for my music studio. It's great for this purpose and looks awesome. Thanks for the review
Good choice! Still loving mine! Thanks for leaving the feedback.
Bought 2 of them today in grey color, tomorrow we will try to put them together, hopefully it's not too much work haha @@jpr-tech
were u able to lock the chair when its fully reclined? I can only manage it when it's completely upright. Annoying
That is a great question! No, I don't think that is possible with this particular chair. I personally don't need that feature, but it would always be great to "have it and not use it" than "don't have it at all". Thanks for pointing that out! Cheers
I want to buy this table, do you think using three 32 inch monitors and using a monitor arm is very possible?
First of all, props to you for having so many monitors! And no I don't think they'll fit. I have a 28" 4K monitor mounted on a flexible arm and it takes about half the width of the desk.
2 might fit a little tight, but possible. 3?! I don't see how. Sorry.
could you mount monitor arm and such at the front part of that wierd part so its flush with the wall?
You can if you remove the main desk mount the arm mount, then put the desk back. There is enough clearance at least for my clamp to mount it (5CM or 50MM clearance for a mount clamp).
But remember that the Net under the desk might be in the way.
Nice video. Thank you. Very informative. It helped me decide to buy two of these in white.
Great to hear! So far no regrets. By far my favorite desk to date. Still doesn't have any scars or marking on the surface or legs! Really really good quality for the price. Enjoy them!
I like the minimalist looks of the desk but ... i doesn't gives me a "sturdy" sensation, i have a best of monitor a mobiuz ex3410r and i highly doubt i can setup a mount on this desktop.
Thanks for watching. I don’t know what monitor that is, but my 28” 4K monitor is sturdy enough. along with my camera mounted on a pole stand. I wish you the best in your desk endeavors. Cheers.
@@jpr-tech On my case it's the mobiuz ex3410r, a 34"monitor that weights around 20 lbs just by itself.
Great review man!
I have little doubt. Can I put my monitor directly on the mesh without using any stand? Will it be stable enough for the mesh part to hold its weight?
For reference, I am planning on putting a 27 inch lg ultragear monitor with 2 legs of monitor stand outwards towards you. Can mesh sag under its weight?
Thanks for watching, but it sounds like it should be fine... if your monitor is the one I googled, that weights about 6Kg and my monitor weights just shy of 6Kb at 5.5Kg... it should be fine. My monitor has the V-Shape stand and that works fine. The only problem is that they are a little too long and extend on top of the desk area, which takes up real estate from my desk.
So if your concern is about the mesh and weight, it should be fine. Even if it were to sag a little, it is nothing to be concern about. Then again, that might bother some people. So if you are really wanting to purchase this desk, but have concerns about the weight. You could place a flat metal sheet or a wooden shelf under the stand to relive pressure from the mesh.
Sorry if this is confusing. Hope it works out for you!
@@jpr-tech thanks for clarifying!
do you know what country the chair was made in? Country of origin. It's usually on the box.
Oh no, sorry. I didn't see that. But the materials are legit. Sturdy and strong. Even the coat of paint looks and feels good.
So who ever made it, did a great job. Thanks for asking.
I hope someone can answer this, does anyone know what the leg-leg length is?
They are spec to 68cm -78cm, but mine are little over 80cm. (82cm to be exact).
Hello, do you think it's possible to screw some casters in the bottom of the legs instead of the included base.
It comes with some plastic feet that screw at the bottom of the legs. Which I'm sure you can replace with casters (wheels). Unfortunately, I don't know the exact measurements of the screw thread.
A bit late on the video, but it's possible to hold the monitor arm on the inside part of the desk? Between the mesh and the board? Just to avoid wall damages with the bolts.
Never too late to ask a question, thanks for watching.
About the monitor arm question, that depends on the monitor arm mount.
Mine doesn't protrude so much, so I can actually do as you said, but I prefer to keep the real estate on my desk so I've mounted on the mash board.
Thanks for watching!
@@jpr-techWhat monitor arm are you using in the video?
@@regalizo9952 thanks. It’s the cheapest arm I could find in Amazon that was white colored and shipped to Japan.
Can It hold dual monitor and a pc?
Depends.
Are they mounted on arms separately or in a single arm with dual extensions?
If you mount an arm where the metal bars under the mesh, it should hold each monitor separately. Because my 28" 4K display is holding on firmly without wiggles.
@@jpr-tech I haven't decided yet so should I go for mounting 2 different arms or single arm with dual extensions?
@@bingeandrepeatfcwondering the same. Seems like 2 single monitor arms might be the best option.
What are your thoughts on the chair now? 9 Months later. Is it worth?
The chair and desk are holding up very well. Still feels like when I purchased it.
It's still very sturdy and firm. Best of all it hasn't bended or anything like that.
The hot summer didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. There is no netting or opening for air circulation around your rear, but I'm fine with it (I do have AC though).
The build quality is off the charts, keep in mind I'm a 180cm 118kg old man. With that said, it is holding my weight on a daily basis. So it is so worth the asking price!
I have gone thru so many desk chairs, and 100% they have all bent or gone soft that I feel the tubes on my back. Not this one! Hope this helps!
Thank you so much@@jpr-tech
Awesome!
Thanks!
im looking for like this desk that have the ability to change height so i can lower it down to 65 cm so my arms can rest & be happy
You can lower it (when assembling) but the legs are labeled to 68cm being the lowest setting. I don't know if that is low enough for you, but I guess you can put your chair on its highest position... Hope it was helpful.
I got the black version and its a fingertip nightmare, does this one better to not get fingertips marks?
Sorry to hear about the finger print magnet. Grey is much better in that regards. Actually is better than WHITE which I used to have, but had to clean it constantly due to marks and scratches appearing so easily.
Im using a 3xl mousepad its the only solution I got, before I go insane and try something desesperate, I should had for the grey color but most my setup is darker tones. Thank you for the feedback@@jpr-tech
I use a desk pad to remedy this issue. 👌🏼
Im on same boat thinking about get another table top and install on this desk lol (currently using big ass deskpad and another smaller on top) @@gabekortez4062
what is the distance of the organizational net below from the front edge?
Sorry for the late response. It's about 55cm away. Cheers
Bro, what's the name of that horizontal led begin the desk at 6:39?
Oh that thing!.... I got it in the local hardware store. Nothing special.
It actually is too bright, so before I used black electrical tape to defused some of the light. 😅
What keyboard is that and what desk pad are you using? Could you share links to those.
Thanks for watching! Just updated and posted the links in the description of the video. (affiliated links) Cheers!
Hi Hananias. Is this grey color desk collect fingerprints and oil stain?
Good question! Not for me. But then again, I usually keep my hands clean when touching my keyboard and mouse. So I haven't had any problems. I do at times eat or snack on the desk and have had NO problems with oils and stains. It is so easy to clean and dry. FYI, the desk is a mat style surface, it is grey... so markings from say a briefcase might stain the desk with black lines. But it's so easy to wipe off. I haven't had any permanent stains or scars yet. I'm really loving this desk so far.
Great. Thanks for the info!
I was about to buy it, but seeing the mesh and how it shows the mess of cables underneath, that annoys me somehow. Thanks for the great video
Thanks for watching!
Yes, it is messy... but to be honest, I don't really noticed it that much unless I intently go down to unplug something or when I'm vacuuming my room! 😅
Thanks for your comment! Really appreciate people's feedback!
Nice
What is your monitor stand?
Thank you. It's a NO BRAND white stand that was the cheapest I could find in Amazon. I was specifically looking for this design and luckily found a white on.
If I find a link on it I'll post it in the description. Cheers
what is the monitor arm that you use? he is so neat and moves nicely
Thank you for watching. It is a cheap and generic brand monitor arm. I just looked in Amazon for the cheapest monitor arm that had hooks to pass thru the cables and also that was the color white. Glad I found this one! Works great.
Does anyone use this desk with a normal monitor (without the arm)? That's how I'd use it but I'm worried about that stupid slit and my monitor stand hanging off of it (potentially making the monitor unstable), is it a problem?
Sorry for the late response. But it all depends on your monitor size and leg design.
For my monitor it was fine, but I still wanted to clear up space under the monitor and I also need to adjust the monitor regularly for conference calls, so I opted to use a monitor arm.
It works. I have two monitors with their stands. I’m looking into getting monitor arms.
@@gabekortez4062 ok nice
Hi! Is the desk exactly 160 cm wide or less? ☺️
Yes it is exactly 160cm wide. Thanks for watching.
Hi Hananias, can you please tell me what the width between the table legs are, left to right? I can't seem to find this measurement online. I would like to know what I can fit under the table. Thanks!
Sorry for the late response. You got about 123cm of area between the legs. Hope this helps.
Hey, I was wondering if this desk gonna hold 32 inch monitor and ps5 . Does it bent after time ? Is it stable enough? I see you got way more going on on that desk that I’m planning to do. How is this desk holding on today ?
Hi! Thanks for watching and commenting.
"Will it bend?" It depends on the mount you opt with. A monitor arm will probably bend if the monitor is heavy enough.
If you are just placing the monitor on top of the mesh, it should hold just fine. Just keep any clamps you use on top of the metal bars in between the mesh areas.
My 28" 4K acer KG281K (heavy beefy monitor) holds just fine without any bending. I'm constantly moving the monitor around for cleaning or when I need to reach in the back of the desk.
As far as aesthetics goes, it is still brand new! No heavy scars, finger prints don't show easily. I love it!
And it's super easy to clean the surface! Highly recommended.
But you should really check with your mounting solution, because ... 32" ... wow that is huge!
@@jpr-tech Thank for the information, yeah I see actually now thinking to switch from 32 to 27-28 cuz I checked and it’s gigantic. Thank and have a good one! And great video!!
My tilt tension knob is stuck out the box how do I fix it
On the chair? Sorry don't know what to do. If I were you I would try removing the knob completely out and see if something is wrong with the screw. But your best bet is to contact the local IKEA store you purchased it from and try to get some customer service.
Boricua!!! Que casualidad. Es una señal del universo que me debo comprar este escritorio.
Me alegro conocerte boricua! Gracias por ver el video.
Este escritorio esta diseñado de una manera brutal.
Es muy fuerte y rigido. Que tengas un buen dia. Saludos!
@@jpr-tech Gracias, igual! 😁 Espero armarlo pronto
Has this desk held up well to daily use? Has it marked or stained?
Still no marks or scars... I've spilled drinks, dropped tripods and camera gear on it. I have sticky sweaty hands and so far NO COMPLAINS. The color help hide the marks, but the material is super easy to clean. Thanks.
Hi!!! What’s under the desk that you used to put your CPU on it
Are you talking about the net under table? Well, cables and outlet plug connectors.
What is the width of mental frame for the monitor mount?
Sure, it's 20CM (7.87 inches).
Hey, im considering byind this desk. I have a dual monitor stand, do you think the mesh will hold up the weight?
Depends on the monitors size.
The desk is holding my 28" 4K monitor, but you have to make sure to hook the monitors arm's plate on the metal bars inside the mesh. Make sure it's centered and it should hold well.
Hi! Have you bought the table and install two monitors? I have a same thoughts
I’m wondering the same. I have this desk.
@@gabekortez4062 I've installed 2 monitors 27'' on double articulated installation. That's stands perfectly without bending. 👌
Do you think it can hold dual monitors (27 and 32 inch) on a stand
I'm sure it can, but are you going to mount them on a single arm? Or a monitor stand kind of like a mini desk on top of the mesh?
I don't think the single metal bar in the mesh will hold 2 monitors in 1 arm (is too thin). But if you have the monitors on top of the mesh, say on their monitor stands... in that case should be OK.
@@jpr-tech ah, I’d prefer to use the stands but with you saying that I’ll prob end up doing that instead! Thanks for the reply
@@jpr-tech single arm yeah
Can you set a pc on this Desk?
You sure can!
Boricua!!!!!!!
Wassssupppp!!!! 🤗
may i know your speaker model
Speakers are by Logitech (or Logicool) model number Z407.
Thanks for watching!
what is the model of the monitor holder?
It's a no brand cheap o arm I got from Amazon. I'll put a link in the video description. Thanks for watching.
It's been 3 years since the purchase, and I couldn't find a link to the one I got. But this is closest model in price and design as the one I got.

@@jpr-tech thank you!!!
Did t see it all scum through
Multiple problems with the set up
The rack and wire routing is Infront of everything
Second the chair arms arnt even with the desk can cause some problems with that
Frame looks very narrow on the arm rest as well might be uncomfortable for long use
No problems here! My desk stays clean and it is easy to clean and maintain.
The chair is not the most comfortable chair by far. But I love that is firm and durable. It's good for my needs. But I'm sure it is NOT for everyone. I would recommend anyone going to IKEA and testing out the chair. But the desk... it is a NO BRAINER! Love it!
