  • I make my journey back to the Rainy Lake Visitor Center at Voyageurs National Park. What a great canoe trip to Voyageurs. I would recommend anyone stay at this majestic park. We rented our canoes from Voyageurs Outfitters where were fabulous and supplied us with the paddles and canoe!

Great trip! That aluminum canoe is loud, but those things are tough and float well. Thanks for bringing us along!

Yeah I'm thinking of buying my own canoe. Any suggestions? Looking to spend under $700.

I like Sarah in the back of the canoe. You’re both doing a great job.

Thanks for your videos!! The wife and I just watched your 3 part ones on VNP. We have been going to VNP every year since 2005!! it is our get away from the noise and stress of living near the Twin Cities. If you come back here head out of Crane Lake on the southeast side of the park. Lots of wildlife and some beautiful sites to see close to camping areas. The Grassy Bay Cliff on SandPoint Lake is a sight to see!!! From a canoe or kayak it is a wonder to behold to paddle up to and touch!!! Looking forward to watch more of your vids!!!

I would love to make my way up there for a longer trip. I'd even talked with my father-in law about renting a houseboat and dragging the whole family! But I really would like to do more of an extended paddle trip. This was the first overtime canoe trip we have ever attempted and I was so in love with it. Thanks for checking it out!

If you want an adventure in Voyageurs National Park, go into the interior lakes. A motorboat ride on Lake Kabetogama to the Locator dock or the Cruiser dock gets you on your way. We go regularly into the Chain of Lakes via the Locator trail. Rent Canoes from park that are there waiting for you when you get there and get a campsite with a lake all to yourself with no motors. Hard Work, fairly short portages if you go several lakes in, but great adventure!! Pack as light as possible and go in late August less bugs!!

trying to plan a family camping trip for 2022, who did you rent your canoe from? We were interested in the same site you stayed on.

We got it from Voyageurs outfitters. We scheduled the rental ahead of time. They delivered the canoe to the canoe rack and it was waiting for us when we hot there. They also provided 3x paddles and pfdfor two people. Great service!
