What a gentleman he is too brilliant and it also shows how good was his upbringing ,decent down to earth personality .
Film villains are real life gentlemen.

His role as Thakur Dhanraj Singh in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak is the most memorable one till today. Although, he is the most sophisticated as an actor, he has been made to act in some pretty cheap roles thus underutilising his creative abilities.

Har baar hum itne saubhagyashali nahin hote ki guest khaali hon. Unke bhi apne aisey zaroori kaam hote hain ki wo chaah kr bhi nahin cancel kr paatey. Nipta dena shabd janche nahin. Thanks for watching.

It's again been one of the best episodes of Guftagu I have come across so far. Indeed, listening to living legends through such inquisitive and well presented interviews is very instrumental from learning point of view. As a kid when I saw Baazigar, my blood used to boil on seeing him,😀 Madan Chopra as the man who brought SRK and his family to streets, and also enjoyed him getting hammered by SRK in the end. Class actor Dalip Tahil.

I haven't seen pran sir movies much , but after amrish puri sir , dalip tahil is the best villian in the bollywood industry , and both these legends are such kind and humble person
irfan Sir, You have wrapped up in 30 mins. I think few more things about his movies, drama, direction, kids, etc could have been spoken about.
But even then this is a good program.

इंटरव्ह्यू का समय कुछ कम लगा , केवल इसलिये कि गुफ्तगु टीम ने कई सारे लंबे समय के इंटर्व्ह्युज किये है . फिर भी दिलीप जी ने ३० मिनिट को काफी अच्छेसे यूटीलाईज किया . फिल्म , नाटक , सिरियल्स और डिजिटल सिरियल्स के माध्यम को अच्छे तऱ्हेसे narrate किया . बहुत मजा आया !

Kuch hi saal pehle Ramayan par aadharit ek TV serial shayad Siya ke Ram, pakka yaad nahin, mein Dashrath ka role kiya, jo unke filmy roles se bilkul juda hai aur ek alag hi Dalip Tahil nazar aaye is serial mein, bahut hi emotional role kiya. Is role ko dekhkar waqayi mehsoos hua ki unko filmon mein under rate kiya gaya

I don't believe he ever did. Primarily because he mainly played supporting and villainous characters, both are essentially thankless roles. The main protagonist garners most of the accolades.

These actors have a dual personality. Most of them are one in real life and another before the camera. My niece, who was a Manager, at a Petrol Pump in Bandra, Mumbai, tells me that this gentleman was very rude and obnoxious with the Petrol Pump Attendants. When they used to see his car coming, they use to curse under their breath. So don't be swayed by his "acting" before the TV camera!
Which petrol pump get in touch with me will go and see...I am his son.
