I saw Come From Away when it was in workshop in Seattle and the mayor of Gander was there. And I liked it so much I went to see it on the West End. It's an incredible show go see it.
I'm so glad I stumbled upon this channel, it's AWESOME! I want some Canadian friends. I just realized, I don't and have never known anyone from Canada....UGH. (just actors and musicians, politicians etc...) Take that back.....I know an artist from BC, but not personally, just talk to him at a art/draw/sketch/paint site lol

@@HSMiyamoto yeah probably not. Most Canadians still don't understand me sometimes lol been here in mainland Canada for 7 months and still get looked at funny sometimes for using a certain phrase although I don't have the traditional Newfie hillbilly accent.
@@HSMiyamoto Actually, only about 1/3 of Newfoundlanders are of Irish descent with about 50% of Irish descent living in the Avalon Penninsula. A lot of Newfoundlanders are descended from people from the West Country of England. The dialect borrows from both sources and uses words now pretty much obsolete in standard English. Dandelions are called "Piss in the Beds" in Newfoundland. Sea urchins are called "whore's eggs". Of course, over the years with contact with the rest of North America and the U.K., Newfoundlanders have picked up a lot of standard English terminology and grammar.
