I have this wig. Going through chemo I took a chance on her. So many have ask me who is doing my hair that the cut looks great on me. It looks so real. Very comfortable on the scalp. Have used my curling iron on low and it does well.
I am so happy that you found a wig that works so well for you!!! These VersaFiber caps are so much more comfortable than the standard caps, I prefer them! (Just wish they had more styles available in it!!!) She is heat-friendly, so using a curling iron on her can work, just be careful not to go above 350 degrees and do not keep the iron on the hair fibers very long. You can remove the curling iron, re-roll the hair section and pin it so that it will cool completely in it's curled position. That will allow the curled style to remain permanently in your wig--even after washing! You can count on my prayers for your complete recovery, Nola!!!! Hugs from the PNW!!! ~ Coco

Hi Hildegard! That frizziness you say is that the roots-do you mean next to the cap? If that’s the frizziness you’re talking about, it’s called permatease and it’s put there by the manufacturer to help disguise the cap and give lift/volume to the hair fibers. If you’re talking about frizziness on the ends of the wig fibers, that is a side effect of friction. It’s called the friction frizz And can sometimes be smoothed out by using a hot air brush and some water or product to help smooth them out. If it’s gone far enough to where the hot airbrush doesn’t help, then using a clothing steamer is the next step to help restore your wig. There are many videos out there to show you how to do this. But after a certain point in time that portion of the wig fibers either needs to be cut off, and the wig reshaped, or the wig needs to be retired. Does this help? Hi SweetGaLady!!! I would have to say it’s a bit of a mixture: the body of the wig is mostly a lighter brown with all those beautiful blonde highlights, but it still has the medium brown root. It’s such a beautiful color-I hope you like it!!!❤️❤️❤️
OMG, That wig lays beautiful on you! Very attractive style on your face shape. I have many wigs (Rachel Welch, Estetica, Jon Renau etc.) Paula young are my "at home" wigs due to the price point. The permatease in the part is very noticeable especially on dark colors, so im a little self conscious if i go outin public.😭. That style looked so cute in the headband. Oh how I wish my Buttered Toast had looked like this! In Rosalie it was dark, with a few random strands of lighter hair. I bought a salon style Cap for doing streaking and am going to try to add lots of lighter color using alcohol inks. Company assured me wig was not defective but it sure was in no way a blond color. ☹ It was not Versa Fiber and I know you said different fibers take color differently.
Hi Katy! Sadly, the WhisperLite fibers and general PY fibers show Buttered Toast to be darker than the VersaFibers do. I hope your adventure in coloring your wig turns out good! Thanks so much for watching and sharing!!! Hugs, Coco 🤗
Hi Marylynne!!! I would say that the VersaFiber fibers are slightly larger than the WhisperLite fibers, but they are far more silkier and flexible. Several of the VersaFiber wigs are less dense as well, so you get a more natural-looking wig because it's not so much hair. BUT, if they don't carry your color in the VersaFiber line, it doesn't do you much good, and the variety of color choices in the WhisperLite fibers can be more than adequate. Please do a review of Paula Young's "Rosette". I'd love to especially see if there is a nice part (not nesty or lots of permatease or hairs sticking up). I know it's not easy to find unless you get a monopart or monotop, but they do exist. Thank you so much!
Ashlee was the first wig I ever ordered, and it seemed like SO much hair at the time, so I sent it back. I need to get it again someday.. Thank you for your reviews, I just love love your videos.. but are you Sandy or Coco? lol I notice you switch it up sometimes..:)

I got this wig in Honey rooted, very nice. I just noticed on the second time I wore her, little short about one inch hairs sticking out of the back of the wig, below the crown but above the nape by 3 inches or so. I looked it over carefully after I took it off and I can’t figure out what those short hairs are - they stick straight out! Any ideas?
Hi Victoria! Hmmm....Maybe tht was a accident in the factory? But on a smooth style like Ashlee, I might want to trim those hairs completely off, as long as their absence won't reveal the wefting below.
