I have a Hope Evo crankset on my bike and Hope pedals. Love it!
The EVO crank is awesome. I love them.
If I was building a dream bike these would definitely be installed. For now RF Turbines will do the job, cheap and strong is a positive 👍🏼
like this reviewer, so honest
Hi, I've also a 2018 yt capra, I've encountered multiple issues with my race face next SL crankset and would like to upgrade it with a hope evo.
Before purchase it can you tell me the right reference (78-83mm is ok?)? And if you have to change your bottom bracket in order to install this beautifull crankset.
Thank you very much for the video
Hope should come out with its own 12 speed groupset 🤔
This cranks chainrings work with sram 1x12 ? Or any hope chainrings work with Sram chain :( help me man nobody answer in this channel :(
Just got a 19 capra....expecting to upgrade the BB and crank in the future. Is this one recommended for a YT? Edit....just realized that your bike is also a YT capra.
Kandem I have these cranks on my jeffsy 2019. They are excellent. No need for a new BB. The e13 works fine.
At least now you don't need a torque wrench going up to 50nm to service your BB
Isn't this design is the same as Raceface crank?
Same principle, yes.
What spindle length and diameter
They cover nearly every option.
I've got raceface turbine cranks on my bike, and they are both cheaper and lighter. I don't know why I would buy these hope cranks.
Purdy colors?
Saint cranks
Plastik lockring??
Shimano - Hold my beer
This type of pinching lockring is only used on one type of crankset made by Shimano- the XTR M970 and that one is made of aluminum. Works perfectly every time year after year. So I'm not sure what your point is?
Cranks are overrated af.
Its a crank, what did you expect?
Big difference between quality crankset and cheap ones
@@zyoungson215 like what? A few gramms and the look?
CZcams User well no cheaper ones can creak after heavy abuse and might even snap
You’ll notice a difference in stiffness if you go from something like a Truvative 6K/SRAM NX to a quality ally crank like this or the 5DEVs, but yeah, it’s 75% bling, 25% performance! Cheaper cranks generally use a 6000 series aluminium, where as your more bougie cranks are made from a 7000 series ally.
Even cheap cranks are brutally strong. I'm not sure what there is to review. Sram, Shimano, Raceface, and Ethriteen all have numerous cranks that have a great balance between weight and price. I've never understood the point of these and understand even less now. Essentially an anodized Raceface crank.
These are overrated, snapped my axle and gone through 3 bottom brackets in a year overpriced and paying for the brand
Buy dh cranks ya nob
@@b-manz considering i ride trails and jumps never been to a bikepark i wouldnt think id need a set
Overrated!? You kidding right ?
