This was fitted with a guilliotine type of shut off valve. but because of a stuck pump element, and the amount of air going through the pipes, the valve cant go down (it will be pushed so it wont go down.) - And dumping the clutch in gear, wont help much with around 3500 Nm torque..... And you dont want to break a steel flywheel right under your legs.

It tried in an high gear but the clutch wouldnt hold it. And yes it has guillotine but it was designed wrong so when the boost was so hard that it was at this time the guillotine was too weak.
right. oil in the motor burns white! kill switch failed. this here runs still on diesel. they had luck that the clutch works so a long time, or has this a torque convator?

Don't those guys over there use an air shut-off? In America, we use a guillotine at the engine air inlet. Diesels will run on their own crankcase oil, but once you shut off the air, they will die.
what happens is the truck starts sucking oil down the intake and burns the oil as fuel. runs till it locks up! damn shame. only way to stop it is to cut off air.
that was a run away. The engine started running off its own crank case oil. Only way to stop it is to plug the intake or spray a fire extinguisher in the intake.

Diesel pump elements stuck and kept giving more fuel. No engine oil burning here.

a runaway would run higher RPM's.. Well in the 6000's. This was just a stuck throttle, maybe a fuel pump issue.
Yes pump failed, industrial pump made for few hundred repems
6000's for a truck diesel.. No matter what is burning inside, it wouldn't physically be able to rev 6k

yes they did have it, but it didn't work. Something about a loose hose
also to stop this you can shift it in the lowest gear and dump the clutch it should kill the engine

Not a turbo failure i would say. it would provide white / blueish smoke and the engine with be torn appart. More likely the throttle that got stuck.

Why not introduce a fuel cutoff at the fuel line near the fuel tank? it would only have to run the contents of the line itself before it dies....

Nope, Im Shure team Herlevi will not use worn Piston rings, and there was Black smoke, so the fuel Pump must be hecking. So a fuel Cut Off Would help.
