- Floating Outskirts is a game by Yoried, made entirely inside Geometry Dash. In this video, I mod Floating Outskirts inside the same editor to make my level "Jamskirts". This was a really cool project and I'm super proud with the final result :) I'm also really proud of this video. This is def my best video to date so I hope you enjoy it!

The strongest aspect of all your levels is the “immersion” that ties the gameplay to the world. And you do it SO WELL. Especially all the fun easter eggs you put up everywhere. Not many creators put a big focus on immersion, so I’m glad you do, and enjoy doing it.

Had fun being able to playtest this, congrats on getting the level and the video finished jam! Also fun fact about when I playtested this: I happened to beat the level the attempt jam told me he had to brb and beat it while he was away lol

This is definitely one of the best entries in the whole creator contest and I do not doubt that you'll win. It was such a fun event too, I'm really proud of my entry and happy that this was the first ever creator contest I became a part of!

Jam, I'm now learning how to decorate levels and I'm using your level as a model for inspiration (glorious fortress) and it really amazes me how you can lay it out beautifully, then choose nice objects and then use them correctly. (you probably won't think of it on the first try) But it's still incredible to me how you do it. Jam, you are a really great creator for GD. Respect for you.
thanks! :) yea it does take a lot of trial and error to figure things out sometimes, and a lot of experience as well

OH MY GOD this level is so incredible!! the fact that the theming works so well, there are so many little details packed in on some cool gameplay and the fact that the majority of this level was made in 2.1 is jaw dropping!!! keep on making stuff, it's awesome (love the graffiti art :P)

I love your creations and would love a tip on how to start block design bc i have gameplay for several levels but cant decorate them
make sure you have good structuring, you should make your block design easy to decorate by breaking it up into nice appealing shapes. learning graphic design principles will help a lot
