Three years ago, Whytleafe FC was thrown into financial disarray when their home ground was sold, leading to the club’s quick dismantling.
But the heartbreak of fans was quickly met and matched by the determination of manager and grassroots enthusiast, Kelly Waters.
Waters took the helm as owner and manager, established AFC Whyteleafe, made a four year agreement to rent the ground, and set about returning the club to its former glory.
Entering the pyramid four leagues below their namesake, Waters, his management team, and the players set themselves an ambitious challenge - to return Whyteleafe to their former league within four years.
Three years later and three tiers higher, the club faces an uncertain future once again.
The agreement with the ground’s ownership comes to an end in 2025, risking Whyteleafe’s hard fought place in their current league.
Tiny House Films has been commissioned to follow the club during the 2024/2025 season and showcase the characters, talents, and unique club culture of AFC Whyteleafe.

I thought this was some netflix documentary or smth when I first saw this video, impressive quality and wonderful story! I'm a computer science student studying somewhere over 10k km far from your home ground, I hope someday I can work as a football analyst for a team like yall :) Looking forward to watch the upcoming episodes!
