  • Make sure you give your wetsuit the love, care, and attention it deserves. Washing your wetsuit after each surf and hanging it up properly to dry will make it last longer and smell fresher - plus it won't be nasty and wet next time you come to put it on. It's a fairly simple process, and though it can feel like a bit of a chore at the time, it's definitely worth it in the long term.
In this video Rachel from Women + Waves tells you everything you need to know about how to wash a wetsuit and proper wetsuit care. Can you put a wetsuit in the washing machine? (Spoiler alert: no.) Have you been hanging up your wetsuit all wrong, causing the neoprene to stretch out of shape? How do you avoid damaging your wetsuit when getting changed into it? These and other questions will be answered.
