Ruairidh Gray - BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year 2024 Semi Final Full Set.

A clip taken from the BBC Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Semi-Finals which were held in BBC Scotlands Pacific Quay building, Glasgow.
Here Ruairidh sings three sets.
The first set is an 19th century drinking song titled “O Siod an Deoch Mhilis”.
The second set follows the tragic story of “A Mhairead Òg” who was killed by her lover after he had been deceived by his own mother.
The final set is a jaunty selection of puirt-a-beul.
