Platia Ammos Kefalonia: Platia Ammos is a secluded beach located 30 km west of Argostoli, the main town of Kefalonia. This beach amazes every visitor with its natural beauty, which landscape is quite similar to this of Myrtos and Petani but far more unspoilt and peaceful.
Platia Ammos is an amazing beach, but the road which leads it remains still close. The stairs going down to the beach were totally destroyed during the earthquake from 2014 and they were not repaired. There is no other possible access to the beach, so this beautiful beach remains close.
You can still approach the upper side top of the beach following the unpaved road ( severely damaged on some areas) for an amazing view.

Πλατεία Άμμος Κεφαλονιά: Η Πλατεία Άμμος είναι μια απομονωμένη παραλία που βρίσκεται 30 χλμ δυτικά του Αργοστολίου, της κύριας πόλης της Κεφαλονιάς. Αυτή η παραλία καταπλήσσει κάθε επισκέπτη με τη φυσική της ομορφιά, το οποίο τοπίο μοιάζει αρκετά με αυτό της Μύρτου και της Πετάνης αλλά πολύ πιο παρθένο και γαλήνιο.
Η Πλατιά Άμμος είναι μια καταπληκτική παραλία, αλλά ο δρόμος που την οδηγεί παραμένει ακόμα κοντά. Οι σκάλες που κατέβαιναν στην παραλία καταστράφηκαν ολοσχερώς κατά τη διάρκεια του σεισμού από το 2014 και δεν επισκευάστηκαν. Δεν υπάρχει άλλη πιθανή πρόσβαση στην παραλία, οπότε αυτή η όμορφη παραλία παραμένει κοντά.
Μπορείτε ακόμα να προσεγγίσετε την πάνω πλευρά της παραλίας ακολουθώντας τον άσφαλτο (σε πολλές περιοχές έχει υποστεί σοβαρές ζημιές) για εκπληκτική θέα.

Platia Ammos Kefalonia: Platia Ammos este o plajă retrasă situată la 30 km vest de Argostoli, principalul oraș Kefalonia. Această plajă uimește fiecare vizitator cu frumusețea sa naturală, peisaj care este destul de similar cu cel din Myrtos și Petani, dar mult mai neatins și liniștit.
Platia Ammos este o plajă uimitoare, dar drumul care o conduce rămâne încă aproape. Scările care coborau pe plajă au fost distruse în totalitate în timpul cutremurului din 2014 și nu au fost reparate. Nu există alt acces posibil la plajă, așa că această plajă frumoasă rămâne aproape.
Vă puteți apropia în continuare de partea superioară a plajei urmând drumul neasfaltat (grav deteriorat în unele zone) pentru o vedere uimitoare.
for the next person who wil try this 1) remember why the stairs broken.. Big earthquake something very common in our island so it can happen any time. 2) do do it with such cloths and swimming suits.. boots ropes etc needed 3) don't do it in such small group without the security of somebody will stay up and notify the authorities if somethgn go wrong.. if one of this two guys had an accident they would die there...

@@evkulkova true, the beach has a very wild air and the sea having the currents directly from LARG is unforgiving, being isolated from the difficult access you really must not "let yourself be carried away by the wave", but all in all it is worth descending even if you are not skilled in climbing.

Worse than when we did it years ago, there was a lot more steps then although some were broken, you certainly need to be fit and have a head for heights

Σιγά την παραλία που θα ταλαιπωρηθεις κιόλας....
Στην Αττική έχει καλύτερες από αυτή.
