Thumbs up for the production value
Thanks! We put a lot of effort into!
Facts the production value is stupidly high
You had me as soon as the cards started getting thrown lmao. The production value/entertainment is top notch man. Great video
Glad you enjoyed and welcome to the Digimon Card Game!

By far the best TCG explaination video ive ever watched. Great breakdown of key terms, how to play, etc... as well as great production value and making it fun to watch. thank you for the time and energy you spent making this video. excited to start playing digimon tcg
Thank you for the kind words ❤️
Such a good insight into playing. I’ve not played Digimon tic since I was a kid so very early 2000’s. just bought three starter decks and really looking forward to playing. Thank @DigiBros
Haven't even got the lesson part of the video but I am in love with your skit, brings lots of character & laughs. Keep up the good work 👏
This video is fantastic. The humor, the production value, the great education quality. Legit the best TCG tutorial I've seen on YT, mate. Good job.
This was heavily requested and so glad I found a tut.
Thanks man, I bought some starter decks and this video helped. That playmat looks great.
Thank you!!! If only this kind of tutorial could have taught me how to play pokemon 20 years ago
The videography and direction is so lit in the intro of this video 😄
This is the best how to play digimon video that I have come across so far. Very detailed and easy to follow. And it didn't put me to sleep. I love patamon but I see now that I have to buy the blue structure deck as well in order to play Omnimon. Thanks!
I’m really glad the tutorial was able to help you! Welcome to this awesome game! But yes if you are looking to play an omnimon blue variant then 2 of the blue starter decks are a must
While in the middle of watching this video I got inspired and ordered two starter decks for me and my gf. Great Video!
That’s awesome! I’m glad we were able to inspire you to start playing! Welcome to the Digimon TCG community!
Thanks for this video! Bought a starter deck yesterday and was needing a good intro video.
The quality of this video is way too good!
Thank you so much! We put a lot of hard work into it lol
Best intro for a tutorial video EVER.
I still come back here and watch this once in a while. I miss you two lol
This was fantastic! I can't wait for this game to show up in my local shop. I love how detailed you were thanks so much!
Glad you were able to learn! If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to ask!
Your production is better than SO MANY youtbuers, liked and subbed. Nice explanation too.
Extremely informative and rad cinematics!
My friend finally got me to play digimon a few weeks ago and oh my god is it my new favorite game. I've been playing yugioh for 10+ years and as much as I love it, it's taken a back seat to omnishoutmon for now.
Welcome to Digimon friend ❤️
Damn boys! Great work! Ten outta ten, ten outta ten.
I’m glad you like it! We put a lot of work into it!
Great video, thanks for helping out new players to the game like myself!
Damn Boys this is sooo freakin cool! That opening scene reminded me of an old 90s clip trying to promote Pokemon, Yugioh or something like the Digi-vices 😂 LOVED it! Super solid Effort & really helpful to all new/Semi-confident players :D
Look forward to learning more from y'all in the Discord!
Thanks for the support and can’t wait to chat it up with ya in the discord!
Learned so much thanks to this, keep up the great work.
I'm really glad we were able to help! We definitely will!
Only watched 10 minutes, but legend thank you! So easy to understand!
This is my type of intro! lol Nice work guys!
❤️
I’m a minute into this video and I can feel an Oscar on it’s way
Thank you Bros I've been struggling tbh but I've picked it up more and I've been doing better at locals!
Glad to hear you have been doing better!
So happy I subscribed yesterday and saw this in my feed. Got a prerelease event this weekend so trying to learn as much as I can
I’m glad you subscribed as well! Hopefully our video was informative, we are also going to a pre release even this weekend
Thankyou for this tutorial.I Just bought a box of battle of omni and a bliz greymon starter deck
Game looks cool, but you’ve guys made it even better, much props
This was very helpful. Thank you!
This video is fantastic, thank you! Keep up the great work!
❤️
Great video! You've got great pace and provide ample examples. Insta-sub!
This is very informative. Me and my brother are getting into this game. And this cleared up almost every question I had. Only remaining I can think ya didn't go over is protection of your cards. Like when buying cards what size sleeves should ya look for. As long time players of other card games I find that a very important part. But other then that minor note 10/10.
Did you ever find out the size? Is it like the size of a magic card?
@@danman3669 yes they are magic sized
Great job on the video, especially the intro
You guys are amazing! I've been telling my friends about you guys
We appreciate the support! Please join our discord! We had a post about it and it is also in the description our most recent video.
Thank you for playing with physical cards! Helped us learn easier than just photo's and text while someone just talked.
I agree! That's one thing we've always tried to do on our channel. Play real in person games with physical cards and show people our decks and teach them about the game that way. It's always been easier for us to learn that way. There's some sort of disconnect when it's just photos in a power point lol. I'm glad we were able to help!
@@DigiBros Appreciate the work! Got a new subscriber out of me. Cheers!
That opening was shot better than the majority of movies nowadays
❤️
Thanks you made this easy to understand :)
awesome vid, just got my hands on a battle of omni box and no idea how to start 😅 thanks for this
I already know how to play. I came purely for the intro. And I wasn't disappointed.
lol I'm glad you enjoyed it! We put a lot of time into it.
Great explanation thank you
I'm liking that playmat, trying to find a similar myself
Bro this is the greatest thing ever. I came here to learn something and I can't stop laughing 🤣😂🤣🤣😂
This Is a great tutorial video
I need that play mat!
Legit bored of yu-gi-oh at this point and who doesn't love Digimon
Duel masters vibe.
Played Yu-Gi-Oh competitively for just over 10 years 2 days ago I gave digimon a try and I'm hooked this might become THE best tcg
@@TheRMJQandA5/5 utilizes space - "Plants vs zombies:Heroes" or now dead "Athenion" (the best). This - 4/5. Yu-gi-oh - 2/5 (long turns due to "juggling").
@@TheRMJQandA I much more enjoy single player TCG, especially rogue like deck builders (such as "Slay the spire") due to discovery phase. For ME competitive TCG is dead due to lack of opponent deck variety (at best 5 meta decks against, which you will fight over and over again, instead of 10 times more decks).
I understood like half of what you said, have a nice day
Subbed to your channel just for that intro 😂
Very well done, hope you guys get a lot of subs
Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!
I need to know where you got that play mat, it looks nice as hell :o
This seems similar to Duel Masters/Kaijudo in a sense and that makes me love it
It really does and I love that because you can center your deck around a digimon that becomes its "identity", or like your personal Ace.
THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad to of helped!
Thank you for the good tutorial
here before you get to 100k.
This is fantastic, Thank you!
You are very welcome! Welcome to the Digimon TCG community!
I need the discord lol
Bro, you should be playing Bakugan and Beyblade !!! :)) But thanks for this, you explained it well to me, cheers!
I recently found out about this games popularity and bought some cards, this video is honestly amazing and so well produced. Great work
Very good video
Good video, subscribed!
We appreciate the support!
Best digimon video ever lol
Earned a sub!
Welcome to the channel!
I might play digimon once I get my last yugioh deck finished.
This seems really high quality to only have 300 likes
I watched four “how to play” videos prior to this one; this is by far the best one. Thank you!
PS. Would love to see an updated tutorial now that the English cards have been out out for quite some time and have introduced some new mechanics.
Great idea! Thank you 😊
0:34 HAHAHA top tier =)
This has no right being this good.
Thank you for the informative video, you definitely earned a subscriber! By the way, where did you get that amazing play mat? I definitely want one
Glad we were able to help! We got the play mat from the ChoSugoi shop on Facebook. Use the promo code DIGIBROS for 5% off.
@@DigiBros thanks, brochacho!
Awesome video! A few questions though, how many creatures can you have on the battlefield at the same time? Do the creatures underneath the evolved creature give it their abilities?
They do give the effects to those above it. You can have as many monsters on the field as you like.
love it just subscribed can i ask where you got the mat?
A fan made it for us. Check the link in the description!
I just seen a Green Lantern... Yes please
Love the Video, what is the name of the music in the background pls?
I came here to learn how to play the digimon card game. What I got was that.... And more
Love how he uses official ygo dice
To what level can you evolve in the Raising Area? If it's more than level 3, does it cost energy to evolve there or only when you place the Digimon in the Battle Area? Also, if it's possible to keep evolving in the Raising Area, once moved to the Battle Area, do you pay the cost of energy of the last card or everything you stacked?
You can evolve all the way up to a level 7 if you like. You still have to pay the memory cost to evolve wether it be in the raising area or the battle area. If you move a Digimon from the raising area to the battle area you do not pay any memory.
So can you attack your opponents tapped AND untapped cards? Or just their tapped (Rested) cards only? You mentioned both in the video so im confused now.. @ 16:20 and 18:05 very confusing
You can only attack your opponents tapped monsters unless you have an effect that states otherwise.
My only question is with inherited effects, do you get to use all stacked effects in any order? Or do you choose one effect to use per turn?
Yes you can use them in any order that you like and however many that you like. However most of the effects will state only once per turn.
So why would you attack an opponents digimon and not their security if they don't have blocker... Like can't you slap down 2 cards and kill all 5 security and do the killing blow by ignoring digimon in the battle area?
"I dont even have a dick bro" lmao
Superb quality, best digimon tutorial
Haha sorry to disappoint man but it actually said deck lol I’m still glad you liked the video!
I want that game mat
Omnimon can only be played in a red blue hybrid deck. It stacks ontop of two level 6 digimon a red and a blue, so it gains all inherited skills of both digievolutions.
If you read the card rules it says ‘Choose *one* of this cards level 6 digimon’ implying that it has multiple level 6 digimon under it.
Unfortunate this is incorrect. Omnimon can evolve on top op either a red level 6 or a blue level 6 it does not need to be both.
Hello, just want to ask, can you use the effect of suspended tamers to gain memory at the start of your turn?
Yes you can!
lol i love this
I’m glad you enjoyed it!
0:35 usual what every digimon fans facing a "ripp off" hahahaha
Looks fucking gorgeous, idk if I'll get anyone to play with but I am fucking collecting
It’s risky but it’s alway my starting move, first turn Lvl 7> at the cost of 10 memory.
What about the green cards with two green evolution cost ect?
Oh man is this so different from the original Digimon game!
I just bought two starter decks and there are no playmats like the old game. I have to draw one up like yours for tonight.
The starter decks come with paper memory gauges that you can use until you get a playmat with them on it!
@@DigiBros I know. I hate them though.
still pretty lost on it lol subbed tho :)
The production quality in this game lmao
Did you say after you've put 5 cards in your security from top of your deck, as its your turn first you don't draw your first 5 cards?
You start the game by putting the top 5 cards of your deck face down as your security then you draw your opening hand of 5 cards.
Hmm... so a few more questions:
How many copies of a card can you have in a deck?
Yugioh lets you have 3 max of the same copy, magic and pokemon, its 4.
Security +1 ability? (I pulled a Ragnaloardmon with that ability)
Digimon play sets are 4 copies. Security check + 1 means that when attacking the security the Digimon checks for + 1 additional security so it will hit 2 instead of 1.
Seems simple enough
I'm not sure really went rong, but tried out my first game of this and half way through my turn, the memory gauge was still on my side, but I had nothing to spend on it. I had already picked up once, and I had played all the digimon in my hand. there was only option cards left in my hand which I didn't fancy playing at that time. In that situation, do you HAVE to spend your memory gauge, or can you just flip it straight to zero and let your opponent take over?
You can pass the turn. That puts your opponent at 3 memory. So if you dont want to give them a lot of memory or dont have any plays, you do that.
Thank you @@alhen9023 for your clear and precise answer. Exactly what I needed to know!
@@mangycatgaming7011 no worries! Happy to help newer players. I want this game to grow as big as pokemon.
So when you get rid of all of your opponent's security cards, do you have to get rid of all of your opponent's rested digimon in order to attack directly?
To win you must attack through your opponents security and then attack the player while they have no security. You do not have to attack you opponents Digimon.
the main thing i'm confused about if when your digimon are active or suspended. Don't really get it. and if they are in either state how does that effect if your opponent can attack your security or not. and when do they change state?
All Digimon come into play active. To attack with your digimon you move your digimon from active to suspended turning the card horizontally. You can either attack your opponents security or attack their suspended digimon. You change them back to active during your unsuspend phase after you draw for turn.
@@DigiBros thanks for help bud
If you lose? You will have to walk back to the park... With a new walk 😂
