I got the same one last week and going through it to get it running perfectly. It's leaking fuel from the bottom of the carb bowl and it seems a common issue. I ordered a new carb on ebay after watching another one of your videos and will replace it soon. Thanks for the vids!

I figured somethings out its a 91 350 trail boss with a 97 400cc engine, if I've decoded the engine number correctly, my mistake i thougbt it was just the jug, still no start, i have between 95 and 100 psi.
Great content, keep em coming and thanks!

Ok. So that changes a lot of things. The cdi box, the stator, and basically everything electronic will be different unless he used the stator for the 350. If he used a 400 stator it could change things. Did you pull the black wire on cdi box? It could be you have a faulty kill switch. I have taken the switch apart already and found it was green inside by the kill/light switch.

Do you think you could maybe make an electrical components testing video for say a '99ish sportsman?

Help! I have a 99 sportsman 500. I've replaced the key switch and both handlebar switches. The neutral green light won't turn on. Upon moving the wires to the key switch I got it to run but that was before I replaced both right and left throttle switch's and light switch. Yes the four wheeler is a neutral. Something to do with the wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked compression? Should be 95 psi or higher.

@@TitaniummanGarage I'm waiting on a tester, it seems ok when I put my thumb over the spark plug hole, but i won't know for sure until i see some numbers on a tester. I first thought it was a neutral saftey switch, but then realized it was just a bad indicator bulb. Its a 350 bottom end with a 400 head with reeds done by previuos owner

@@dexterrockstar4165 I didn't think that was possible. The 400 head doesn't fit on a 350. the 350 opening for the jug is smaller. I tried it. Unless he bored the 350 jug out to a 400 piston. Might explain your problem if I'm right.
