Intake boots are a nightmare. I remember going through hell to fix a vacuum leak. If it happens your engine will go in limp mode and you'd lose a lot of power. Also make sure your maf is fine as well.

Exactly!! I’ve replaced my whole cooling system, valve cover, and CCV system with new OEM parts. Runs like new!
