Actually from SHINee, Replay dance practice was the first one. But Lucifer dance practice made it all went boom when people everywhere tried to learn this dance because they were astonished how idol group could dance this hard. And there were some dance practice clips for other groups before SHINee in kpop, but yeah, they were the first one who released it for the public. Thanks for the reaction!

As far as someone else said in the comments that was just a leaked dance practice for Replay though and Lucifer is the first officially posted. That'd make a lot of sense.

Yes, SHINee started the synchronized dance trend. And they made the industry realize that if anyone else wanted to compete they needed to up their game. Just think, when Taemin joined SM at 11 he didn't even have any dance training -- up until then, all his skills were self-taught by watching dancers on TV shows -- and by the time he debuted less than 3 years later in 2008, he was already showing everyone that his skill level was on par with, or even surpassed, many professional dancers who had been dancing for years. That's just SHINee's natural talent. SM really hit gold when they formed this group, and I don't think it can ever be duplicated in the same way again.
So the members are: Taemin in the black and white striped shirt, Jonghyun with the tank top, Key with the side of his hair shaved (Just like you will see in the MV), Minho is the tall one with the baseball shirt and black hat (Minho will always be the tallest member) and Onew is the one with the white shirt and hat.
Taemin's shirt is an iconic part of their "Lucifer" dance practice. He even brought the look back in 2017 in his "Move" dance practice video. When SM released the "Move" dance practice video, one of the first things Shawols always mentioned was how it brought back memories of "Lucifer." Fun fact: The trippy feeling you get from Taemin's shirt, isn't because of the video quality, it's just something about black and white strips that the camera has a hard time deciding what to do with the pattern. I have seen that same thing happen with black and white striped clothing and objects often in videos.
Haven't you seen this MV? The "Lucifer" in SHINee's song (represented by the light trail or smoke you see in the MV) is supposed to be a girl who has devilish powers like Lucifer, who is trying to possess them and take over their lives. As the English lyrics say, "Loveaholic, robotronic ... her whisper is the Lucifer." (If you notice, they are using auto tune because they are supposed to be "robotronic"-ly controlled by the girl who is "The Lucifer." So the auto tune is meant to make them sound robotic.) In other words, the woman or girl they are talking about is so desirable that she is like Lucifer and you have to use all your willpower just to resist her wiles. In the choreography you see them trying to fight against her powers and resist her attempts to make them bend to her will, etc., that's why you see all the robotic moves because they are showing how "Lucifer" is trying to control them like a robot -- for example, they put their wrists together like they are being handcuffed to show how she is trapping them. And they vibrate to show how they are being manipulated by "Lucifer" and they are trying to resist her powers, etc.
"Lucifer" is actually know as one of the most difficult songs and dances to cover, even still today, because of its tutting and popping and for the fact that it has a very fast paced beat with dance moves that are very sharp and precise which are designed to hit every beat of the song. And the song itself is very complicated with the songs wide range of notes and its flow.
Many amateurs have thought "Lucifer" looks like one of SHINee's more simple songs and dances. But the minute they try to sing the song and/or dance the choreography, they soon discover that it is way more complicated than they thought. It only looks and sounds simple, because SHINee makes it look that way. czcams.com/video/0V02cQwYLMQ/video.html. Check out this clip of SHINee teaching a group of actors and comedians "Lucifer" as part of a challenge on the variety show "Invincible Baseball Team." It's funny because when they came to meet SHINee to start the practice, Jonghyun asked them why they chose this song of all songs, and they said because it looks manly and they thought it was fairly easy to cover. But the first thing Jonghyun said to them, while laughing, was "oh no, actually it's one of our more difficult choreography and it took us extra time to really perfect it." :D
Yes, the part where you see Jonghyun standing still was because that is him singing that part of the song. As you know, Jonghyun is one of the BEST vocalists in the industry, as well as Onew. During those parts of the song, Onew and Jonghyun were just pausing or slowing down because, for example, at that moment Jonghyun is belting one of the most epic high notes you will ever hear. A lot of SHINee's choreography is designed to allow for moments where the members flex their vocals. SHINee are some of the best vocalists in the business and they are known for, not only being impressive dancers, but having amazing stamina and vocal range. That's why they are able to perform this live while dancing this intensely and still sound flawless.
As you mentioned, SHINee's "Lucifer" dance practice video was the very first dance practice video ever in the Kpop industry to be released specifically for fans. They had never made a dance practice video that wasn't just for them to watch, so to SHINee in 2010 this was just a dance practice, it wasn't a performance video like what you see in "dance practice" videos today. As you know, SHINee is the group that started the dance practice video trend, and they are why dance practice videos are even a thing today. :D This video was the very first dance practice video to go viral. Back then, dance practice videos were usually only filmed for the group and artists to watch to help them remember the moves and to fix mistakes, etc. They weren't intended for a mass audience, and it most definitely wasn't meant to be an MV quality production. But SM realized that fans were starting to copy SHINee's choreography, so they decided to film a dance practice and release it to the public. SHINee's dance practice videos became so popular that other companies and groups started to follow suit and show off their choreography by releasing dance practices too.
Just another way, SHINee influenced the industry and changed Kpop forever. :D
However, to SHINee, even still today, dance practices are really just dance practices. They save their energy for where it counts, for MVs and live performances. What you saw in their dance practice is only a fraction of what this dance is really like. They are experts when it comes to maintaining stable vocals while dancing 110% for hours on end. People never really understand why "Lucifer's"choreography gets so much hype, until they see SHINee perform it live. That is why SHINee are live performance legends.
Fun fact: As you can see, "Lucifer" was before SM had their new fancy giant gold door dance practice room that all of their dance practices are now filmed in. Before that room was built, you always knew when it was an SM artist because of that iconic cloud wallpaper. The cloud background in all of SM's most iconic dance practice videos is classic SM.
If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch their iconic performance of "Lucifer" Live in concert. To see them go full out and really blow you away with their talent, you need to see a live performance. Check out their performance at their SHINee World Concert III (SWC3) in Seoul from 2014, czcams.com/video/Fm5n8Q2XO34/video.html.

Ok, it's Taemin in the striped shirt, Jonghyun in the black singlet, Onew in the white t-shirt, Minho in the cap and Key with the half shaved head that he had in the Lucifer music video.

You were correct in guessing who was who! And yes, this dance is a bit stiff, but I think that's mainly because this dance practice wasn't ever meant to be officially released.
It's not a fully polished version of the dance, but more of them blocking out the main choreo, like, for example, all their little dance freestyles that they tend to do during their solo parts, aren't really in it. Also, it isn't the final version of the song that plays. It wasn't meant to be seen by the public.
This was released on a whim, because, like you said, so many people wanted to learn the dance, and, it just started a trend of releasing dance practice videos, and the reason why it's so iconic, and you know how the story goes.
(And yes, there were other clips and videos of dance rehearsals before this, like their one for Replay, for example, but those were leaked clips, not official releases.)

Thank you for explaining more about this! That's cool, that fans basically really demanded the dances and SM/SHINee heard them. SHINee trendsetting once more, what's new

The reason why some of these older dance practices look a bit odd is because they were really just a dance practice that was filmed and released to show the dance, not like today where they essentially make it a perfect performance. They're doing normal things for practice, just marking their place instead of lipsyncing and being all dramatic and going all-out like they might do during a performance. That's why some bits may seem a bit low energy, for example Jjong just standing still during his long note.

SHINee's "Lucifer" Dance practice is considered the very first dance practice video in Kpop history because it was the first to be intentionally released by a Kpop company, specifically for fans to watch. It was also the first video to be used as part of official comeback content during a group's comeback activities.
Yes, there were dance practice videos before 2010, including SHINee's "Replay" dance practice video, which was originally recorded as they prepared for their debut in May 2008. However, those videos weren't released to the public as part of their comeback and they originally weren't supposed to be seen by anyone except the members to help them fix mistakes and remember the choreography. For example, SHINee's "Replay" dance practice wasn't released to the public until 2010 and it's not on SM's CZcams Channel, but reuploaded by a fan or someone who somehow got their hands on the video.
2PM debuted in September 2008, 4 months after SHINee. So, SHINee still had a dance practice video before 2PM. Also, I don't think, at that time, 2PM's "10 out of 10" dance practice was considered a dance practice. It was a special dance performance video. It looks a lot like "dance practice" videos we see today, but back then it wasn't considered a practice video, because it was polished and filmed as a performance. 2PM's actual dance practice video for "10 out of 10" was originally filmed when they were still trainees before their debut and JYP never intended for that video to be seen by the public. The original dance practice video was only released years later when it was uploaded by a fan or someone who somehow got a copy of it -- it also is not on JYP's CZcams channel.
Most of the time, any dance practice videos that were released before "Lucifer," were leaked by someone without the company's permission or they were released months or even years after the song's original release.
