Hats off to Maharashtra for celebrating chatrapathi shivaji.. A good model to be followed by states like Tamil nadu to celebrate chera chola pandya and pallavas. Could not see a statue for them in any of great treasure built by them. Its time to create great awareness to young generation about our grand history truly so that they understand a lot about their contributions standing tall even today!

Chatrapati shivaji maharaj one story. This story says about tactics of Marathas. There was a Mughal Empire general named Afzal Khan, who was strong and taller than an average human. That times Mughal Empire was fond of capturing South India. So they invited small Kingdom kings for peace talks and they'll hug for peace. When they hug, the General will kill the king by holding them too strong. He was strong enough to kill a man by holding tightly. Then they capture the kingdom. One time Chatrapati shivaji was invited for peace talks and a spy informed about this. So he went to meet Afzal Khan with Tiger nails and protective layer. When they started to hug, Shivaji with his tiger nails killed him. For defence the General used his knife but failed due to the protective layer and the General died.
