Flamekit was named after the noble Shadowclan warrior Tinyflame who was his mothers brother and died a few moons before his birth. As an apprentice he was adventurous and quick to take matters into his own hands so that when he heard his medicine cat and clan leader discussing an omen suggesting that Marshclaws daughter would bring trouble for Shadowclan, he remembered his namesake and went to Riverclan to investigate her. He was taken prisoner and found himself taken with Riverclans way of life despite wishing to return to his clanmates. After some moons however when he was offered a permanent stay in Riverclan he struggled to refuse, and began his training again as a Riverclan apprentice. He held on to the prophecy though, and made a point of spending as much time with Toadpaw, Marshclaws daughter as possible at first to make sure she wasn't a danger to Shadowclan and then because he found himself catching feelings for her. As a warrior Flamepool attempted to distance himself from Toadstalk, taking Silverminnow as a mate and staying in the nursery when they had an unexpectedly large litter. Many in Riverclan worried about the clans ability to feed so many kis during leaf bare and Toadstalk took charge of extra hunting patrols. Flamepool found himself spending more time with Toadstalk first in secret so he could deny his feelinhs to himself and then openly, when Toadstalk confessed she was hoping to take one of his kits as an apprentice so she had a better chance of becoming deputy he recomended her to the leader in spite if himself. Seasons later Tiadstalk and Flamepool were mates with Flamepool taking care of three more kits, Toadstalk killed the riverclan leader becoming Toadstar and Flamepool tried to take their kits to Shadowclan, fearing Toadstars reign. Shadowclan refused and Flamepool fled the clans to become a loner before returning to Riverclan. During the time he was away however, Toadstar attacked Shadowclan, believing her kits were there and almost wiping them out cometely. Flamepool spent many seasons torn between his morals and his love and died saving his Shadiwclan nephew Tinypaw from a fire, using his last breath to wish Shadowclan well on their recovery and curse Toadstar, before finally ascending to Starclan.
