Is Master Sol the Real Sith? | The Acolyte

  • So far Star Wars The Acolyte has handed audiences a cookie cutter story with weak characters and obvious reveals. Is this all a ruse to distract from the real plot twist?? We theorize that Master Sol is the real Sith behind the scenes and that he is actually the acolyte that the show refers to. Is he the secret apprentice to Darth Plagueis or is this too far fetched?

      I’ve come to learn SW fans hate everything that’s not the original trilogy 😭

      @@seanseams6308 Not me. I liked Rogue One, Mando S1 and S2 and Andor. In the Acolyte's case, they are definitely breaking canon and it is clear (so far) that they are redefining what the Force is and what the Jedi are -turning them into bumbling fools and evil Force fascists-. But putting all that aside, the writing in this show goes from bad to idiotic. Just the first minutes of the first episode are stupid beyond belief. The dialogue is super cringe ("Yes, my child?" and "..young warrior" come to mind). The fight scene, though it looks "cool" by itself is so out of place in Star Wars it jus ends up looking silly. It gets worse until it reaches the climax of cringe in episode 3 (That chant has to be the most ridiculous and cringe thing I've seen) - Things don't make sense, or ar contradictory. Characters lack depth and have motivations that flip-flop depending on what the plot needs them to be. Darth zipper-face mows down 6 full Jedi but the little kid is somehow able to hold her own for several minutes. Characters seeminlgy disappear in the middle of a fight, fuck off God knows where and reappear when it's convenient. And the moths scene is just utterly retarded. Why didn't the moths come down when there were like half a dozen very bright lightsabers swinging around? It's just stupid, mediocre writing and just as mediocre acting. Trying to find a deeper hidden twist in this is a waste of time as I doubt the writers have the wits to even think about it. I may be wrong, but their "big reveal" on who Darth zipper face was was super stupid.

    If Sol is Smilo's master, the entire conversation they have doesn't make a lot of sense.

    Plageus wasn't born yet to be a sith master with acolytes, but obviously that wont stop Disney. It would realistically be Venomus or Tenebrus but I don't see Disney trying hard, easier to change dates around.

    Leslie Headland said the Acolyte is the apprentice of the apprentice, so that would be Mae, not Qimir or Sol. The reveal will be that Qimir has a Master, who will probably kill him. It will probably be Plagueis, or even Palpatine.

    Sol is actually Palpatine. “Somehow, Palpatine has returned.”

  • @rubensaenz
    @rubensaenz Před 26 dny

    Sol being absent in números times off the screen during that fight is rare or could be “script say so”
    Sol could use his sesos es to guide him where where the other Jedi at any time tu we never see that
    Or sol is incompetent or “script say so” or really he is up to something

    • @QuickieGames
      @QuickieGames Před 25 dny

      The Sol being the Sith master is ridiculous. Qimir recognizes him from Brendok. Sol has been a Jedi his whole life.

  • @QuickieGames
    @QuickieGames Před 25 dny

    Yall gettin too wild with these theories. This is Mae, Osha, Qimir, and Sol story and that's it. Qimir lived on Brendok. Everything revolves around Brendok. Qimir was there when it burned and probably got his burn marks pulling his mother's body from the fire. He did not rescue Mae from fire because she is not burned. There will be no Plagueis or Palpatine.

  • @matthewdane1875

    This is a totally dumb theory. If Sol killed all the witches, why would the other Jedi there not stop him or report him.

    Honestly, I'm listening to the audio book for The Tempest Runner, which is also a drama taking place during the High Republic and is about the bad guys and has a Wookie Jedi, and already the acting and writing is much better than this awful show.
    Osha and Mae are terribly written and make no sense as characters. Amandla Stenberg has only one facial expression.

  • @AsterionH
    @AsterionH Před 25 dny

    Sol could be Darth Plagueis. It is only in legends that he was confirmed to be a Muun. In the Disney cannon, he could be human. Sol being Plagueis would absolutely give him motive to kill the witches, as they would have been competition to his goals, "to create life."

    • @chrisburton3571
      @chrisburton3571 Před 24 dny

      Agree. It could also be that Plagueis needed one or both twins. The space witches may have changed their minds and weren’t going to allow the Jedi to take them. Something happened that we’ll see in a future episode flashback.

  • @deadmeat8754
    @deadmeat8754 Před 25 dny

    I've been saying that Qmir "outing" Sol was significant (and, yes, Sol's personality flip was unmistakable). Qmir was an easily predicted development in this poorly written series and one hopes there might be a plot development that wasn't blatantly telegraphed in advance. The problem again is that Headland is such a bad story-teller and her script writing is so atrocious that anything could be an unintentional red herring or MacGuffin resulting from that bad writing.
