I mean, all three guys have pretty specific areas of interest that seem to have bled both into content and the other presenters.
You've got Mike and his racing, Andy and his wrestling, and Luke with... Okay yeah, lots of things
And I Imagine that, every time, Luke does indeed respond with, "You're welcome!" At which point the bobbies rock up with the cuffs.
I identified with Luke so much in that moment tho

Apparently this is because Toho (the studio that owns Godzilla) is both very passive and very agreeable generally. So they never attempt to make their own Godzilla video games, but whenever a game developer comes to them with a pitch about featuring Godzilla or even making a full Godzilla game, they're usually on board and very free with the license.
Like when they partnered with Wizards of the Coast to surprise the Hell out of me with a Ghidorah card in my Ikoria booster pack.
Might go a ways to explaining Yu-Gi-Oh!'s Kaiju Archetype then... not that I'm complaining, Big G's why I'm itnto what I'm into! (Wrestling, Animé, Monsters) Also, I have ALL Kaiju Cards!

Prior to this video, I only knew it as 'that game that ran that one banner ad campaign which caused so many arbitrary website access restrictions on company networks (which then had to be untangled by hand) that it may have been indirectly responsible for getting some people I used to know into paid employment'
Yeah it's one of those clickbait games that the ads have literally nothing to do about.
I think Evony was one of those mmo fantasy civ builder games where it take real life hours or days for stuff to be built, unless you spent money to speed it up. I think I played it for a bit, but that was over 10 years ago, could it still be a thing after that long?
@@MikeSchinlaub Yeah I'm surprised it's still around.. but then again, Raid: Shadow Legends is still a thing as well, but probably not doing as well as it used to, considering how they sponsor less stuff than they used to :p
It's a lot different than it was 15 years ago when I played it in high school. It WAS a browser-based game. It was an online multiplayer game where you everyone had their own cities, where you built it up, upgraded, built armies, and fought each other. But it was EXTREMELY pay to win. Microtransactions to speed up everything, like upgrading your buildings, creating your armies, to even buying resources for those things. And you can pay to prevent players from attacking you. Because if a player attacked you, they'd damage your stuff and steal your resources. For new players you'd have like a week of immunity, but after that week is up, you'll get swarmed by the p2w players until it's basically unplayable unless you start spending money yourself.

Two of my favorite oddball entries are Godzilla/The Ants collaboration, where you play literally ants trying to collect kaiju bits to instigate a war, and the Godzilla/World of Warships crossover. You may think, oh you might use warships to battle Godzilla at sea? No, of course not! He's the captain now.
And just so many gacha games you could make a list of those alone!

There's firebreathing "godzilla" statue in Animal Crossing New Horizons. Was an automatic purchase for me.

It's deserved, that game is the worst kind of mobile PTW trash.
How about a list of 7 times Godzilla Definitely Did Not Show Up (For Legal Reasons). Eg the arcade game Rampage where you could destroy buildings as a giant kaiju lizard named "Lizzie"

The earliest version of SimCity, released for Mac in 1989, had an unauthorized Godzilla complete with sampled roar as one of the disasters. Later versions changed the graphic to a generic 4-legged orange lizard and replaced the roar sound (except for SNES which replaced it with Bowser!)
I think that happened in an Austin Powers movie, including a statement to camera that it was legally distinct from Godzilla.
Would Rugrats: Search for Reptar make the list?
The first print of Revenge of Shinobi also had legaly distinct Godzilla.

To be fair, I don’t think too many people really expect a lizard the size of a skyscraper to pop up to begin with.
Godzilla also puts in an appearance as a truly bizarre Easter egg in Hitman 2 in the Hokkaido scenario. You have to do all sorts of weird stuff dressed as a ninja to unlock his cameo but he's there all the same!
One should always expect Godzilla, but nobody ever expects THE BUTTERFLY!

In a true blink-and-you'll-miss-it easter egg, Godzilla can be briefly spotted in-between random human scenes in the 2014 movie "Godzilla"
...On an unrelated note, you could post a 100 hour video marathon of all Godzilla movies with commentary from Jane and Luke and I would watch it, beginning to end, possibly several times a week

With how much OxBox loves Hitman, I was certain that it was the inspiration for this video. So imagine my surprise when it didn't make the list. I've never played a Hitman game but let me clarify my befuddlement: NO HITMAN!?!

The same Godzilla game for the PS3/PS4 is another notable example of not expecting a Godzilla. HERE ME OUT. No one was expecting the Legendary Godzilla (2014) was going to be an unlockable character until the game was actually released. So while Godzilla was expected in the game baring his name, no one was expecting the NEWEST Godzilla (at the time) to pop up.

I think it’s crazy that toho let all these video game crossovers happen but still we don’t have a new Godzilla game in the style of the pipe work games .
Or hey like I think a cool concept would be like warzone could have done . Make a game centered around the military vs kaiju like Godzilla and kong . I think that be a fun 50 players vs a player controlled kaiju . Doing like objectives like hold Godzilla off while rescuing remaining citizens or figure away to repel Godzilla back to the ocean.

I was in Tokyo in 2016, and for the release of _Shin Godzilla_ that year there were displays at Tokyo Tower of some of the suits and props from previous movies, dioramas, and some other cool stuff.
There was a Godzilla crossover event in The Ants: Underground Kingdom where you could get a Godzilla skin for your anthill, Godzilla as a special insect to use in one of your marches and defend your anthill, and even some decorations of Godzilla, Mothra, and Monster zero, with the event involving Godzilla, Mothra, King Gidora, and Rodan. Apparently, from what I have heard, there was actually a copyright issue that occurred during the event on The Ants developers so I doubt well be seeing another crossover event again in there

Godzilla almost appeared in Fallout: New Vegas. Sort of. There were plans to have a giant fire-breathing gecko lizard named "Gojira" (the original Japanese name for the Godzilla) terrorize Camp McCarran, but it was never implemented. It may have just been a bit of goofy fun by the developers. But it is in the game files and there's at least one fan-made mod that brings the monster into the game.

Edit: like half of these even Godzilla couldn't make me want to play. I have gotten all the Godzilla costumes in Fall Guys already, however. They were my favorite to use, but I don't really play anymore.

In the "Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth" there are posters with a parody of Godzilla: a giant, red-eyed creature looms over a cityscape. Except in this case, the creature is a giraffe:)

Wow bravo you two! Had I not watched this I may of never known about all these amazing Godzilla cameos in these games I don't play and unfortunately now some can't be played with the big G in addition, but I'm glad you highlighted his appearance because that is still of historical significance all round. I have to say that I might have to play DAVE THE DIVER just because of Godzilla and the giant lobster that I remember seeing duke it out time and time again when I was a kid making for bright childhood memories of mine.

11:28 actually the reason Godzilla appear in PSO2 world is because, character in Space went to Earth and watch Godzilla, when they return the their colony ship, they brought Godzilla merch back with them, this was explain by the logo in the Godzilla suit leg
