X-Men Evolution did a great job with Storm. Her look was fresh, her offensive powers well utilized, and her character was neither tokenized nor whitewashed. We got to see her origins and her use by Apocalypse. If only Halle Berry had received this treatment in the film series.

Storm is a dark skinned with a strong African Accent with blue eyes and natural pure white platinum blonde hair because the part of Africa where sheâs from and her family specific traits and our African features. Halle is biracial and even when they recasted for a younger Storm they did Alexandra Shipp also biracial. They need to stop getting Biracial actresses to play African characters, if their going to cast a character who is an icon hero and champion for black society then cast her right, itâs important to us. Alexandra tried with the accent but Halle didnât she spoke regular wasnât of dark skin like she was jus wrong and Angela wouldnât be good looks wise either. You see how wolverine was chosen correctly? Caucasian Tall man muscular like a motherfucka hairy with that specific hair cut? Yea we wanna see chocolate skinned blue eyes long white natural hair from the heart of Africa, fans of all races know what Storm looks like thatâs why when we see her on the silver screen we all laugh cuz itâs like....wtf is she supposed to be..Storm? I think for me the Animated Series had the best Storm simply because she was around more and had more lines and presence. But I can honestly say this is the last time she was relatively accurately portrayed. You got versions with short hair and brown eyes and weak as a water hose

I absofuckinglutely love that they showed her powers becoming more and more potent as the series progressed. She was never shown to be overbearing but definitely formidable and by the end of the show she was very clearly a powerhouse. Great great show and definitely agree with everyone saying it's a rare instance of Storm being done justice. All the depictions since this one have shown her to be weak as if she were Jean. Incapable of being a discernible adversary. Her powers alone could wipe out the planet yet they have depicted her as frail. #justforstorm
The one thing that really pisses me off about every adaption of Storm is how her enemies react to her lightning. A single bolt is 3 times hotter than the sun and delivers up to a Gigajoule of energy. Sabertooth would have had his ass kicked after that first strike.

Under his influence, Storm hits Wolverine with one bolt that blasts him backwards several meters, causing him to fall several stories and knocks him out. All I can figure is Storm didn't actually wanna hurt Sabertooth, just stop the fighting.

It made me so happy now that not only because of her godlike powers but she has officially ascended to an actual Goddess, her goddess name is Hadari Yao, it means walker of clouds and protects the balance of all things. I also believe that her sensitivity to all things life and weather is a form of witchy telepathy, she knows when something is wrong, shes able to shield herself from telepaths probing and shes able to use her lightning to create portals thats also from her witch side. We musnt forget even if storm wasnt a mutant she would still be a witch as she comes from a long line of em her mom was one her grandmother and so on n so forth all of the women n her fam were high priestess n their times, one was the first sorcerer supreme, she literally comes from greatness. The writers like to focus on her weather manipulation cuz its more known but her witchy powers are in her thats why her control over the wind is so precise she damn near has telekinesis like a witch. If it was jus wind thats all it would be but shes able to mold it and use it as telekinesis if she so pleased. People lose their minds when she starts busting out magic like "storm doesnt have magic" i be like do u not know she comes from a powerful long line of magic and that actual African Gods favor and bless her family line and that she can call on em when she needs em? Do u know that she splits the High Priestess card equally with the Scarlett Witch and Agatha Harkness? "How does she split the title with 2 powerful witches" BECAUSE SHES A POWERFUL WITCH TO

I think this version best captures the regal, elegant nature of Storm. Still, she didn't get ANY plotlines. Even the episode where her soul was stolen was about Spyke.

This alongside the classic 90s X-Men cartoon got me interested in loving Storm so much! I became a huge fan of her since I grew up watching the cartoons including X-Men Evolution and the classic X-Men movies. âïžđȘïžđ Sheâs still the definitive weather goddess!

Agreed. In this series, they made her powerful, but still considerably weaker than she was in the original animated series or the comics. It's unfortunate because Storm learned to control her abilities way earlier than when she became a part of the X-Men
It was pretty sad that they couldn't even have her show off just how powerful she is, specifically in a non combat scenario.
Like sure guys it wouldn't make a good show if she beat every villian herself but hell that's why she was thrown into the background, I heard multiple times the people behind the show said they could have her solve every problem if she was in the main cast. So it kinda sucks that they didn't embrace her power the few times she actually appeared, if you're gonna push back one of the most famous and beloved characters of color at least respect the powerfouse she is when you can fit her into the plot.

Dude everyone in this series is more weak than his comic counterparts, and even then she defeat all Xmen team alone !
Because she couldnât even knock out Sabertooth. We know with one lighting-bolt she could have defeated Mystique with easy. đ
