Most people can hand tighten angle grinder discs, wheels and wire brushes. It's the deceleration that can loosen a wheel or brush, and that can mean a worn out bearings.

Thank you! This sort of thing is so simple, or it should be, but if you have never done it, it can really make you feel stupid, especially as a woman. I miss the days when new tools came with instructions!

So if your using a cupped disk should you flip the flange around & mount it the other way?

Great question. For all grinding discs you need the caselated ring inside, the same for both shaped discs.
Hope that helps and thanks for watching!

Better tighten that with the tool it comes with first then you are ready to go !

You should only use the tool if you’re planning on keeping that disk on the grinder forever lmao

Lmao, never do this, you will cry to remove it. I thight it by hand and with just a bit o torque, they do not need more.
