Both are great dancers with different styles. Try to look at it from a artistic stand point .if you truly know dance. i enjoyed ruins routine and i enjoyed larrys. Ruin had some sick krumps and larry is just dumb fast and throws so much shit at you. Great job to both

One things that ales twins ESP. Larry above other dancers is they are very precise with their music. Their musicality is incredible. They have technique, passions and a very good ear to the music. Like insanely good. It makes other dancers look kinda sloppy even though they are very good.

That's a pretty bold statement;) You might be wondering why so many people like Les Twins so much... I'm sad that you can't see what others can see.. I think people see beyond the "technical" side to the dance. It's true that there are many amazing dancers out there with serious talent, no doubt, but Les Twins have showmanship that isn't easily seen in other dancers. They make ME wanna just get up and dance whenenver I see em dance:)
If people come back and watch the battle again would absolutely see How Ruin was a pure beast. He doesn't get enough praise he deserves
When people say that Les Twins do the same moves over and over again. I wonder how many of them have watched one of the best dancers to ever live. Michael Jackson. As much as I love him and as BRILLIANT of a dancer as he was, the man used moves over and over again. But no one could challenge him because he did those moves better than ANYONE has ever done them before or since. Les Twins are in that same league (IMHO). Until someone can do what they do better than they can, stop hating...

lol, the important thing to realize about lau and larry is that they both do the same moves, but they do it in their own way, they are basically the same type of move but the way that larry does it compared to lau is completely different. And for goodness sake just appreciate them as well as tight eyez, there is a reason its called an all-styles battle. The styles are different from each other.

No. I don't know that, though I did say it "seems." I respect your opinion, It's just that I feel that a dancer as excellent as Ruin doesn't need excuses made for him. He's better than that and he just lost. Showing up at showtime is what it's all about. No doubt, the twins intimidate.
Re: Larry. He's not at his best to me because that line keeps changing. Everytime he dances he pushes it further and further. It's scary to think of where he may peak. Peace.

Wow! LOL I knew this was going to come up too. Being a smart dancer is different than people showing favoritism like here. Being a smart dancer makes it easier for you to get into the industry. Example: Storyboard P. If you haven't heard of him look him up he integrates ballet into flexing and caused a movement which made him appear in many things like Madonna's world tour. But, being a smart dancer has nothing to do with battling at all. As far as Les Twins go yes they are Smart DANCERS (CONT)

They both are great at their styles. I think some times, a competition label isnt needed. You can't compare apples and oranges. And just because someone think apples taste better doesn't mean its a fact.

I don't know why ppl want to compare Michael Jackson to Les Twins. 2 very different types of dancing. The fact that ppl are comparing Les Twins to Michael & vice versa says it all. Can we all say that both Michael & Les Twins are originals for their own styles of dancing? Laurent said it best in his interview w/ Step X Step pt 6; "I have my style. I don't want to be like him, I don't want to do like him. He was original." Just as Les Twins are...."period"
@lostboyfamofficel if you look at another video he was apologizing to the judge for being so tired. Imagine his performance was still on point when he was so damn tired ;)

It's not about different styles, it's about who can wow us more, I love both styles, all styles the same, but larry mastered his style better in this 1... BEASTMODE
Hmmm seems you don't know them very well. But Ca Blaze is Larry and Lil Beast is Laurant. Also if you watch any of their videos they actually are very quick at figuring out the moves to use at the right time. I actually haven't seen any other dancers that have their style. If you know of any please let me know.

Each still has its own flow, movement, timing, etc. You can't judge if you haven't tried it or try to even FEEL the movement. just sayin'.

you wouldn't say that if you would have seen his twin (laurent) at the world of dance batlle.. in his round he took a song that was about love, accoustic if I remember right. Thats's so far away from mainstream

First of all listen to the music and you will see that it's different. Actually look at the foot work that Larry does and you will see it is different, and look at the challengers and you will see that they are different. Larry used similar moves, but the footworkd was always different. And even if he did use the same moves in every round, (which he didn't btw) he executed them better than his oppoent and THAT, not favoritism is what won those battles. So either do better or stop hating.

and Larry's style is "New Style" as far as i can remember. just cause he dances to hip-hop music, doesn't mean it is (figuratively speaking of course), because i've seen ballet to hip-hop music, and they still call it ballet, Just saying :) i know a lot of Krumpers that dance to Hip-hop music :D

that was effort vs. effortless.
1. Ruin was dancing to krump Music, i would lo to see larry dance to that.
2. New style is a category IN hip-hop dance.
3. i krumped and danced hip-hop for years. krump is a diferent kind of dance.
i´m sure the judges are all hip hop dancer
4. this video is like taking a B-boy like (hong- 10 and taisuke) and match them vs les twins ...and then tell a 10 year a ten year old to judge.
the b-boys would win that battle because, power moves are more entertaining than...than some choreography :)

Favoritism suggests that Larry wasn't good but was given the win over a better dancer. I say that while Ruin was great, and I love krump. He was not the better dancer that night. Even if Larry resued/recycled, every single move in every single battle.(which he didn't). That means he was still better than the dancer who went up againt him. And that's not about intellegence or the lack thereof that's about TALENT plain and simple.

Larrys Technique in this video compared to Ruin is much harder to learn! The man has an incredible ability to be on point with the beat everytime he dance, and not just with some basic moves, like most dancers. I'm a big krump lover, and i think Ruin killed it, but Larry was unbelievable. Sorry 2 say, but when you look at the level of each dancer in there style, this is a clear win to larry! But all my respekt to Ruin, both dancers were fucking dope as hell! Stop hating and accept the reality.
