Ilus is the first of these planets, one rich with natural resources but also marked by the ruins of a long dead alien civilization. While Earthers, Martians and Belters maneuver to colonize Ilus and its natural resources, these early explorers don’t understand this new world and are unaware of the larger dangers that await them.
About The Expanse Seasons 5:
In different parts of the Solar System, the crew of the Rocinante and their allies confront the sins of their past, while Marco Inaros unleashes an attack that will alter the future of Earth, Mars, the Belt, and the worlds beyond the Ring.

Cara Gee is a international treasure.
Keon was a perfect casting for Marcos.
Cara Gee is really something ... she just has an animal magnetism that goes over great in everything she is in. I just watched "Call Of The Wild" which is a pretty silly movie, but the parts where she is in it are so great, and she is also First Nation which is so perfect. I hope her career really takes off, I want to see a lot more of her ... especially in The Expanse and Sci-Fi.
She's got that cute but mischievous energy... like a meercat with a shotgun.
Keon is the nicest guy, but as Marco I just want to see this fucker burn... good job that.
The actor for Naomi' and Marcos' son is even more perfect. He literally looks like a mix of the two.
She is delightful.
Keon could be perfect cast as Batman also (my opinion :) )
These actors are so bloody brilliant. We have been given a rare gift, with this show. Brilliant actors, writers, directors, show runner, cgi... Just truly wonderful.
I totally relate this one to "Firefly", just more seasons.
@@macroscalequantumsys Though I love Firefly this is much better Sci-Fi and considering the rather poor quality of other shows that shall not be named, its indeed a very great gift to all of us that like clever writing, great characters and brilliant world building.
agree. i wish it would continue after season 6
@@Forristicat It might!
YES! There is absolutely nothing on par with this show in the sci-fi genre. Fantastic all around! I LOVE the dialogue and acting. I felt like this watching Star Trek TNG in 1990s the last time.
Keon is just striking. You totally buy him as this charismatic conqueror.
Is Keon Alexander wearing eye makeup? I´m really confused...
I initially disliked your comment... he’s such a good antagonist I disliked your comment!
I thought Marco was too histrionic. Him pausing every sentence for dramatic effect got really annoying. And I don't care for Keon himself either. He comes off as a narcissist. And anyone in an interview who is probably wearing eye makeup is incredibly vain.
Best sci fi show of the last decade.
By a distance.
I would risk with of all time . 💞💞💞 This is just this rare thing to have story to fallow, characters to fall in love with and all this deep in great visuals ;)))
I'd have to say ever. It's better than BSG. You could maybe argue some older shows because they made this possible, but based purely on the merits, this is the best science fiction show in the history of television. Frankly I think if they were to go the full 8 or 9 seasons(not planned unfortunately), this could be one of the 5 best tv series ever made. Even if they only go 6, if done correctly, this will certainly be top 10 all time for me.
@@jaredsilvers2782 problem with 7-9 would be time jump in books , hard to do in show between season 6 and 7 without swaping whole cast lolz ;) but I agree with rest , this show have far less hype around than it deserves ;)
Honestly ever bro
Having read the books, I ADORE "Frankensteined" show Drummer. Cara is brilliant in this role.
I just hope we get the scene, at the end of S6, where she reaches max level. 😉
Appropriate for a Belter who are kind of a patchwork society themselves.
It's kind of interesting that she's basically everything BUT Drummer from the books (who got counter stolen by Bull) by now.
Cara Gee smile is so contagious. Wow!
Man, Keon just lookings like a king without even trying.
"yours truly, best belter"
He's incredibly charismatic. Holy cow ...
Yeah, I hope they find a place for him in the Prime WoT series! He would make a perfect Demandred!
Marco is both captivating and scary!
Voted most likely to play a pharaoh
God I never want these episodes to end, they go by like the blink of an eye.
It's so funny because I tell everyone about the show and the show building takes a second and feels long. Then in season five it seems like the episode flies by at a constant 1g
I agree
@@robertperrotto870 solid name. 👍😅
I know , right ? I want 2h episodes !
Twice a week
20 episodes per season
2 seasons per year
4 seasons per book.
That way we can start over and really let it breathe
@@RobertBeckk i'd say it goes 3 gees!
Drummer's smokey eyeliner in THE EXPANSE is amazing.
yaaaassss I feel like Drummer probably got that tattooed on her eyes, knowing her, she doesn't do anything halfway and she has high tolerance for pain

Tbh im obsessed with the Belter esthetic
@@melissametzger2987 Face tattoos and Jamaican/Eastern London pronunciation? Totally cyberpunk. Count me in sista.
My god, Cara Gee is _so_ charismatic!!!
It's so weird to look at her face _and not_ expect her to kill you with her stare! XD
without the makeup I don't see her strength, but wow, with per personna 'on' devastating.
Cara is amazing as Dummer! Total badass!
Congrats on the baby!
Keon as Marco is so great...charismatic & a bit terrifying.
And Wes...just kills it as Amos every week. I'm always impressed by how much he can say with just a look.
Awesome show!!!
Keon does an amazing leader/sociopath/visionary character.
He certainly has my vote for most terrifying delivery of "Thank you" (to Murtry).
Wow, Keon Alexander is gorgeous, his eyes in particular are absolutely beautiful.
How dare you Wes is on screen too.
This is seriously the best after show I've ever seen; most Aftershows are just recaps with fanboy squeeing over hype moments.
This is a bunch of people who love what they're doing telling stories and talking about the craft of making the show.
Really on mark. Definitely not a fan boy squeeing with a panel of 3 "witty people" providing the clever bon mots and snarks. This is really a behind the scenes journey Wes and Ty take us on, and the two are perfect for that. As sincere fans of other people, not preening egotists out to tell all how wonderful they themselves are. The history of how storylines, character arcs, FX, casting happens. How decisions are made. Breaking down scenes.
And amazon wants to cancel the show.
Wes is an amazing MC too. He's really good at steering the conversations despite him obviously wanting to just bullshit with people for hours.
@@companymen42 its not that amazon wants to cancel the show - it's there is a significant time gap between the 6th book (season 6) and the 7th book, which takes place 30 years after the events of book 6.
These are terrific. The other one that came close is the behind the scenes podcast Slate did for The Americans. That show had a similar camaraderie to The Expanse, and they did a great mix of interviewing the actors, plus the crew, including the production staff who really put the show together. I remember the guy who got all the period cars mentioning that meant getting models from early-70s into the 80s to be period accurate.
That end scene with Amos was worth the entire episode. The realization that he's the person he wants to be when he's around the Crew was an awesome realization and character development moment. Wes played it great!
And the poem Peaches recited. You could see it was like a key turning in a lock in Wes' character.
I never thought TV or movie could do a book justice, but this show does that and more. At the end of this one with Amos was perfect. I had forgotten how he needed Holden as his conscious.
it's so nice to see all the actors and actresses so invested in the plot and the books! the fact that Wes was able to recall each episode in detail... and Cara read all the books
Ty's snark and Wes' earnestness are a great combo.
It is a great combo! I'm also so amused that, along with the snark, Ty is such a self-effacing writer. In all these video chats, he just refuses to look into the camera!
@@EMSBoys Well, honestly, I wonder if he's painfully shy? Because it's kinda odd to do a cam show and never look in the camera, and was quite distracting at first, but I got used to it.
@@TibetanHusky8 The camera and screen are probably not aligned.
@@TibetanHusky8 I'm thinking they need to raise their screens a bit
Seeing "Chrissy" so vulnerable in the first five mins was amazing. Cara (So cute) is so different from Drummer. No eye makeup.
Shohreh is such a great actress!
That was really well acted
See Mother Earth herself in state of distraught with the reports in the background make earth looks so much more vulnerable and wounded in the transition shot to earth. A far more devastating way than have a bunch of extras pretending to be people on earth suffering (and cheaper in terms of budget). Yeah, and when I notice she is still in the same outfit 2 episodes ago, I was thinking, man, Earth is in dire straits. Seriously, if Avasarala have fewer than 2 outfits per episode, the whole solar system is in existential threat :D
@@marcc1830 during this insanity in the usa, i wish we had her giving her 'thoughts' on tv. Perhaps things moved a bit faster then
@@CyberBeep_kenshi Know what you mean, sometimes watching the news in these past few years make me feel like the fisherman in Ep03 this season . Take heart brother and be patient, the insanity reveals the sickness in society that needs to be addressed. There are more good people than bad otherwise it may have degenerated into something far worse.
Just love watching Ty's face when these actors talk about his creations, their motivations and back stories. He's very gracious and generous in letting them have ownership too.
This is why The Expanse is the best, these people really understand their characters and their inner choices and decisions, you can see the passion and the joy to play them right. Hopefully we'll have some continuation after season 6. Beltalowda!
And the characters actually have gravitas
I'm disturbed that Marco's actor thinks Marco's fundamental reasons for his actions are the same as what he publicly claims. Naomi Nagata knows better.
The cast are exceptional.
Here's hoping. It's only gotten more and more popular since season 5 came out. If they don't though, the books are amazing and the last one comes out this year.
Keon takes it to another level. You can tell how thoughtful he is about the role.
I like Keon a lot as Marco. He does feel like a historical freedom fighter.
I think they based him off che guevara
@@Peglegkickboxer I think you're right. He seems to have elements of a few Indian freedom fighters as well who fought against the British.
What??Marco a freedom Fighter??He is just a Sozipath and i cant w8 until he burns!
Yeah ,great work how the true cowardness of the character was exposed to his crew.
@@woolfman9394:
That's the point; people who are traditionally seen as "freedom fighters", like Che Guevara, were generally violent sociopaths creating conflict in order to be able to more freely get away with their atrocities.
Im blown away each time i see Cara in person vs her portrayal of Drummer. She is SUCH A GOOD ACTRESS
Its so funny seeing Cara Gee not sneering! Great acting! The actors who play the two most intense characters (Wes & Cara as Amos & Camina) are the most smiley in real life. Wes if you're reading this, you in particular are a grinning idiot and I love it, keep up the positivity!
My fav too
It truly speaks of their skills when the actors in real-life are totally different to their roles.
Brilliant people, brilliant show. :)
I love how "this devastated section of country" is northern Alberta in the winter! Which happens every year, friends.
Budget, my friend, budget!! Remember, this is supposed to depict the area close to Baltimore, which was in a warm month with grass green and vegetation growing when Amos arrived. After the asteroids hit, things are cooling off, fast.
@@1chrisford I know, I know. Look, you're welcome to film in the north on a budget an 'ole day. I saw some Hallmark Christmas Rom Com bing filmed in June at a coffee shop on Rideau St. in Ottawa - inexplicably decorated with Christmas trees and "winter lighting" at 4 pm.

"polyam belter fam" is my new favorite phrase
I was absolutely stunned with Cara's performance this season... I mean, if the authors have given her nothing but few seconds of screams in the whole season, she'd still be huge... And seeing her expressions and personality in real life only makes me respect her so much more. Freakin amazing actress! ❤️
It's so weird to hear them without the Belter accent
It's really weird to see Drummer smiling, Cara seems so much nicer IRL
Especially Cara!! She is such an amazing actress!

BELTERLOWDA
A know
Whenever I see Keon now, I hear this phrase in my head: “You must always have a knife in the darkness”... goosebumps!
When I was your age this wasn’t even a dream
Keon was amazing as Marco, absolutely stellar performance from him.
When Clarissa said she was scared all of the time otherwise she'd be a monster and monsters aren't afraid of anything. That hit Amos hard, because he isn't afraid of anything that's why he needs to get back to his crew.
I think Amos also needs his crew to be his moral compass.
I think that it's not necessarily that he isn't afraid, but more to paraphrase a classic amos moment he has been that guy.
The fact he flinched after hearing her say that mantra is proof that he no longer is that monster even if he is still willing to pull a trigger
When she said that I felt Amos feeling that. Excellent acting.
@@kinslayermds Amos literally said to Alex that he hasn't felt fear since he was 5 years old. Alex replied, "I wish I could be like that." To which Amos said, "No you don't."
@@kinslayermds To me the scene read that he didn't even understand what he did was wrong until peaches pointed it out. Which is when he seemed to really understand that for the first time since he probably got off Earth he didn't have a good person to live a good life with.
Like Lydia said to him, She isn't a good person but she could pretend to be one and he could pretend to love her enough to listen to her. Amos is always searching for that good person to yes be his moral compass, but sadly that he could pretend to be a good person for, and perhaps they could "pretend" to love him in return. There is that sick underlying need to be loved and fear of not being "good" all wrapped up in how he does everything. Man Amos is craziest deepest character in the Expanse, the last moments of this episode hit me right in the gut.
I have to say that finding this podcast has been a gift. With the episodes dropping weekly, a podcast that takes a deeper dive into each episode is needed even more. Listening to how each Actor takes on a scene and how they work off other actors to breathe life into the roles captured on camera adds layers to the show and the time spent watching it.
This builds up with the comments that are posted. Where I read about how other people have taken in the show. Which I get to share with other fans on other sites or my close friends. Without this podcast and all the little connections to it. The weekly release of the Expanse would be torturous. Thanks to Ty and Wes for this add-on.
So agree. It also speaks to the depth of the whole show, the writing, acting, and family aspect, that no way could captivate us as an audience without that authenticity. I mean, listing to Keon who is new, finding out they know each other from way back, how he approaches the whole thing, let's you know they love the show, respect the show and the audience, and man do they deliver. Kudos also to that guy and Ty, for asking interesting(Wes's favorite word)questions.
That's why they decided to make it weekly, to begin with.
The casting in this series has been phenomenal
I'm so happy that Nadine Nicole is still apart of the series, one of the most beautiful, talented, kind hearted person i've ever met. 💕💕💕
Not to mention, that episode where Drummer caps a couple dudes, after the Roci crew cut off the oxygen to the room to knock everyone out, then came in the arrest the baddies and give first aid to the goodies, they go to help Fred before anyone else, and he protests and says "Drummer first" - there's a mutual loyalty there runs deep.
As a physics teacher I absolutely loved this season.
Drummer's arc in the show is so interesting and a bit of a surprise to predict, probably because she is an amalgamation of several characters. Cara and Keon's scenes were fun.
The character building was really good this week! Totally not a boring “filler” episode
Exactly! I really loved all these small character moments, especially between Amos and Clarissa.
There can be no boring episodes. The entire Expanse Universe has so many layers of complexity and such incredible actors and characters it’s impossible to have a boring episode.
The extra 2 episodes really provide some needed space. They probably could have squeezed the story into 8 eps, but we'd miss out on a lot.
"Holden would never have approved a move like that."
"I need to get back to my crew."
@Steve Fettuccine This season though.. It's been SOOOO good.
Lol Cara is like a mini-Avasarala with her swearing. I love her!
I feel Amos realizes that left alone for too long, without that gravity of his Roci family keeping him connected. He drifts into a place he now fears. A place he might have visited once a long time ago, and he only fears that place now because he likes the person he is when he is connected to his family. I think Amos realizes if he drifts too far Amos won't care to come back. Because deep down Amos might like the churn.
Notice that Amos needs a moral anchor. First it was Lydia, then Naomi and now it's actually Holden. I think "The Churn" was a masterpiece of an episode for Amos. That flashback with Lydia, where she says they can both pretend that she is righteous if it means Amos would let her teach him, even though she wasn't at all that righteous...
But Holden is the very definition of righteous.
So when Clarissa tested his morals... He realized that he desperately needs Holden to keep him from being a monster.
@@onubohrok Amos wanting to look after Clarissa turned out badly for Survivalist Guy, but it's probably going to save _some_ Earth fool's life if they stick together.
Holy crap I kinda teared up a little bit when Clarissa recited her poem about monsters to Amos...the look on his face when she said that she knows she's not a monster because monsters are never afraid. Flashback to Amos and Alex and Amos' admitting that he's never afraid and how he wouldn't wish that on anyone. Such good writing and acting in this episode :)
I just love Amos's reaction to Clarissa's poem - That moment of, "wait, I though I was doing a good thing ... but ... I really need my crew ...". I love that it wasn't overplayed and treated the audience with respect.
Amos is that... Churn
Brent Sexton and Keon knowing their character's lifelong history together and playing it to perfection despite this being their first season together is why this show is on a whole other level.
As a Canadian I love seeing a lot of Canadian talent on the show as well, from Cara and Shawn Doyle (Erinwright) to a lot of the "guest appearances" from Oluniké Adeliyi and Bahia Watson.
And finally, props to the costume and makeup crew. A ton of the Belters on the ship look straight up badass.
So are the snowy wilderness scenes shot in Canada? They didn't say.
@@treefarm3288 I believe they said they were in Canada for that scene in the last episode of this CZcams show.
I’m a new fan. I’ve binged the whole series in a couple months but, I feel there is something magical and spiritual about the topics it takes on and the closeness of the characters. It really isn’t “just” a sci-fi show.
I love when Keon says being a single father like he didn’t kidnap Filip to punish Naomi. Keon is just as charismatic as Marcos but in a good way. I can’t wait for Marcos to fall even though I sympathize with him and the belters. Filip is already cracking and I feel will protect his mother when it comes down to it
yes! Filip has only known one side of the story & one way of life...to see him meet his mother and sense he somehow hasn't heard the full truth & see him want to get to know her has been great to see. Jasai is doing a great job! I'm excited to see where things go.

Great episode, im so glad we got that "Yeah, holden would not have approved of that, I gotta get back to my crew" moment as i've been looking forward to that. I did not notice Cara was pregnant so the camera direction and post-editing team knocked that out of the park to hide an 8 month bump. All the cast were honestly excellent, even shohreh's short but powerful scene. Great after show as well guys, you served up Keon and Cara like pros. See you next week!
Cara Gee's character is my fave. Love her groove
Cara deserves an Emmy. Best supporting actress!
Yo, Cara, dont know if you are watching this, but you are my favorite character on the show. REAAAAALLY strong and unique acting. Also, your belter accent is the best
I'm so appreciative for evry single person who has contributed to the making of "The Expanse"; it is truly my most favourite SciFi series ever!
She deserves awards for her performances as Drummer. She is an amazing actress !
I fell in love with this show so quick. I binged it in 2 weeks! I wish it has the audience that GoT had, actually having source material finished and the actors care and understand the characters they play. Quality over quantity
Cara Gee is the best. Definitely has “screen presence”.
I didn't know Cara just had a baby. Congrats! That's awesome!
I only came to The Expanse a few days ago so I'm only at the end of Season 3 but Amos and Drummer are my 2 favorite characters so far. Drummer because she's so strong and straight-forward. Amos because you can really see how he takes in and processes new relational info and grows over time
What a story about Keon's background (to the show) that Wes didn't even know. Such cool interviews on this channel! Thanks Wes and Ty.

i love this show. all the characters are so well done and how can such skinny women be so fierce in the show. I'm 6"3 235lb and i was scare of her. she is like a true commander and a leader in the show.
LOL ... any skinny woman is a terror with a giant wrench in her hands! ;-)
Actors "sell' the impossible.
The portrayal of girls in today’s entertainment media will cause problems when the current children grow up, with boys believing all females are as good, or better at physical confrontation than they are. The rules around hitting girls may suffer.
So ... very happy you invented the character of Camina Drummer ... she is more than perfect. So vulnerable and yet so tough and objective, and still very human and even feminine ... I love that character.
Avasarala talks about putting on her “mask” in the books. The scene where she puts on her jewelry is her putting on “the mask”. So well done.
Unlike Ashford, I don't think Marco would just shoot someone for disagreeing with him. He'll get someone else do it. :D
Marco keeps his hands clean. while getting everyone else to do his dirty work. Niomi with the reactor codes, his son with stealing the Martian stealth tech, even when he attacks earth he does it by getting his crew to fling rocks that take months to reach the target further removing himself from the blood he has spilled.
He is having fun, putting all his skillpoints in Charisma on his evil playthrough.
I don't think that is fair to Ashford at all, and it is the reason Ashford was not spaced or executed after the ring-gates opened. Everything he did may have been wrong, but it was in the heat of the moment and he thought he was saying the solar system. Marco is far more murderous than Klaes Ashford ... just look at how he treated Ashford. But if you point is that Marco exploits his followers, that is a good one.
It also helps him to cope with the fact I believe. Marco can always shed the guilt by saying I was not the one who pushed the button.
Same with Naomi. He asks others to space her. He does not want that on his consciousness.
@@justgivemethetruth yeah , Ashford didnt shot that guy because he dissagred with him.. it was an extreme situation where he asumed everyone was going to die and all they could do is to save the rest of humanity before the station destroyed them all.. so at that point any obstacle or opositio was a potential threat to humanity ..in his understanding.. same reason why Amos shot Semi or Chandra.. they were standing in the way of much more important things at the wrong moment
Cara congrats on the Babylowda!
Everyone at The Expanse, balls out guys you're doing an amazing job. Happy new year to all and is it Wednesday yet?
This is my new favourite word. #babylowda!
@Zwenk Wiel -lowda 1. plural suffix for pronouns; 2. basis for quantifiers. Etymology: English "load of" (meaning "a large number/amount of")
@Zwenk Wiel If you hate to be that guy, don't be that guy. Simple.
But if you must be that guy, research the material. "lowda" in my original message was a reference/homage to "beltalowda" which if you watch the show you will know full well that it is often used to refer to a single individual as well as a group. Indeed it is often part of a dialogue in which person A says to person B using "beltalowda" as the form of address "Hey beltalowda, don't do that" for example.
But seriously, just don't be that guy.
these last episodes, like the sorta calm before a storm. So exciting watching the set pieces falls into places.
Im so ready for final episodes
I am sad. I do not wish this series to end. Beautifully developed characters, expensive production, wonderful story, amazing cast, emotional music..
I love S5 Drummer!!
I'm so invested in her family!!
And Keon, he's just purrrfect!
Absolutely killing it!!
I have really loved the character of Drummer so much since seeing her fight her personal and emotional battle when her spine was crushed on the Behemoth. Throughout her storyline, all her history has been implied through the deep loyalty, or not, that she expresses towards people. A lot of the Expanse storylines have a theme of making families when the characters are separated from people they belong to. Drummer has always seemed autonomous and still looking for where she really belongs. So, it's so good to see her finding that.
I wish I was half as handsome as Keon but his role and charisma as Marco was just so spot on it made total sense he should be a belters leader. Seeing Cara smile is also quite new to me and really cool.
Keon's approach towards learning about Marco's character is brilliant. His words are instrumental for how we can eliminate the divide in America. We can always find the precedence for why people are behaving the way they are. The grievances and needs grow, and what starts as a whimper can end up in the willingness to harm others. We often see people as one-dimensional characters, how they are showing up now, but don't see how our institutions, economies, law enforcement and repetitive messaging about what we should care about and protect make us who we are today.
Marco Inaros speech was on another level, gave me goosebumps. Great writing and acting
Wow!
That is so cool that Keon was with Cara and Dom when they got the cancellation news, and now a part of the show!
And he's a fan of the books!
No wonder he's such a magnificent Marco!!
Cara Gee smiles.....my heart melts!
Drummer really has been such a great character and that scene on Marco's bridge is just perfect, but the quality of all the scenes on the Marco's ship have been so well performed , the use of body language on that set is so convincing and is taking the world the Expanse to a even higher level of realism, i am kinda wondering what is kinda going on there, its a subtle difference but a noticeable uptick in the quality of an already great show .
Only just catching up with this aftershow. This should have been a thing since S1! Great to see the other side of the actors and actresses.
Fantastic show, brilliant story, top cast and amazing visuals! Best thing on Amazon Prime. Thank you!

watching Expanse, and you Cara, your acting talent is TOPS. You can carry that whole series as the lead actor. Wow, you are
incredible. I know raw talent when I see it on screen. Like they say in Hollywood...you either have it or not. You HAVE IT...
Absolutely love the show, rewatched it all 3 times now. Keon and Jasai brought their A game for sure.
I’ll need to go back and watch for the ‘baby bump’ into Marco scene 🤓
As much as I love Drummer, and she is my favorite part of an incredible show, is how much more I love Cara. Gorgeous in every way! I hope there are many roles of every type in her future!!! Great interview with two great actors...thanks Wes and Ty!
Cara Gee is my favorite. She does such an awesome job as Drummer. Every episode I wait to see her in it. So much talent. Expanse is one of the best science fiction shows of all time, no doubt.
Loving this episode. Never seen Avasaralla being so visibly shaken before, Bobby and Alex's stunts, Amos and Clarissa's relationship whatever it is (I'm glad it's back to just them two, honestly I was a bit disappointed when the officers and Tiny were joining them, these minor characters ruined the mood and the depth of Amos' journey so far tbh, but now they're no longer with them and we're back to the most beautifully shot and intimate journey of this season), and I didn't expect to grow fondness of Monica.
I want more from Drummer's and Naomi's arc, nothing much to offer yet this episode, though they're still progressing.
Yooooo my man is straight up killin' it as Marco, a true interplanetary Imran Zakhaev
Who is Imran Zakhaev?
@@justgivemethetruth Call of Duty Modern Warfare villain
@@C76Caravan Ah, a man of culture I see. Clearly... as you’re on an expanse YT video :D
Amos is my favorite character, he has developed beautifully in season 5. Keon has those eyes make would make men and women melt.
Actor's are amazing. Marco is a great character and The Expanse is the best thing on any screen.
Again, Wes really comes out with the greatest questions about the characters and really draws out what are the layers these characters have in personailties and motivations. Keon' discription of Marcos pain starting as a whimper, then a cry, and then a punch is something we can all relate to as we grow up in life. Bullying as a child, the hurdles to overcome as a teen, the struggles with an young adult and so on.... then building this into a tension that is about to break. Most good villians are villians who believe that they are doing something right for the general good, but with such a conviction that they do it all the wrong way (Thanos anyone) And Drummer is the opposite of this as the hero who is put in between the rock and the hard vacuum of space. Keep up these aftershows. As a writer of science fiction and sword fantasy myself, I really related to this medium.... great job Wes and Ty !!!! Great performances Cara and Keon !!!!! I am still watching this and got to the point that Ty mention the Samurai code of believing you are dead so that you have no fear / emotion ... funny that I also do Japanese Iaido called Ryushin Shouchi Ryu under Yahagi-sensei (CZcams videos) and I made a similar comment about this on The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 The Jedi where the ending was strictly Kurosawa with the wind before the showdown between Ahsoka and the magistrate, and on the outside it was the classic western showdown between the Mandalorian and Michael Bhien's character who paraphrase his lines from Tombstone (Jonny Ringo)... This is what great writing and storytelling is all about. !!!
"here's a guy who just tries to have his war" lol
It's always a joy to see that the people making your favorite show love it as much or more than you do. :)
I love how Wes is both the actor and journalist here. I’m here for it.
Please do Season 7 @Amazon Prime Video
It's great to hear Cara read and took so much inspiration from the book characters she is based on! It really shows in her amazing characterization of Drummer!!
She is a real professional, with real heart. The scene she did pinned between the tractors on the Behemoth with David Strathairn will live forever, not to mention her fixing her own leg and hobbling to the bridge!
Camina Drummer is the best character in SciFi, and probably one of the best female characters in any *series*, even. I really love Cara Gee's portrayal of her, she easily makes Drummer 90% of what she is.
It's great to know Cara read the books, not that I'm surprised. She is really fantastic.
The combo of Michio, Drummer and part Bull took a little time to get used to but im really liking it now. I've just started reading book 7 and hope to see her line continued there
The Expanse is the BEST show I have seen in years! I love it!
The actors on this show are so unbelievably handsome, with Wes Chatham, Steven Strait, AND Keon Alexander?!?
The Expanse is the best Sci-fi show on tv hands down, so original and fresh......I love it.
