- Eva Braun was Hitler's secret lover for more than 13 years. To this day, she is regarded as an apolitical and naïve appendage of the mass murderer. But who was the "bride of evil" really? Officially, Eva Braun was Hitler's private secretary at the Berghof. It was only after her death that she became a public figure in Germany. Together with Adolf Hitler, she took her own life in the bunker beneath the Reich Chancellery in Berlin on 30 April 1945. The dictator had previously married his long-time lover. Hidden from the national community, she spent most of her time in Munich or at Hitler's mountain farm in the Alps. The first academic biography by Heike B. Görtemaker aims to revise the image of the blonde and apolitical ditz at the dictator's side.

It cannot be stated with certainty that he even caused WW2.
Maybe it was the fault of France. First by their insistence on harsh terms at Versailles and then by declaring war on Germany after the Polish incursion. Why didn’t they declare war on Russia as well?
From a historical perspective it is way too early to cast judgment .

Hitler lived in a time when cinematography was just beginning. Its easy to forget how many horrors were perpetrated by tyrants over the course of time. We only have the written records, whereas Hitler's crimes were there for everyone to see.
