We want to show that even Christians can do crazy things like demo derby and racing and still spread the messages of the bible. And that it’s also cool to be a Christian. This concept has taken off and we have been blessed with a lot of support. Much more to come!

And I agree 100 percent on keeping a steering column that's free. I think on several racks that I broke was because of my weight on the steering wheel breaking the rack because of all the flexing these cars do and my steering shaft bottomed out and that broke the ears off of the rack and broke around the pinion on the rack as well. Good derby tech video 👍

I've always ran my plates a arms forward on top of the frame. 03 and ^. I think it helps the rails from going sideways. I know it keeps them from bending in the crumple zone

Interesting to see how someone thinks about frames but I mean most of the cars I have build were for stock classes and I never even took the body off the frame

Its come a long way from when I demo’d in the 80’s. It used to take me about 50 hours of prep for every car I ran. Maybe at tops get $800 to $1000 if you won. I couldn’t justify the time or money these days. I see what guys are spending on cradle’s, sliders, chassis prep, wheels and tires, and engines these days and it Just doesn’t pay to make it worth the effort. Bring back the chain door class.

@@danfarris135 about every one of these big derby’s that allow what you are talking about, have a “chain door” class to run..

If you do work on both frames it l be stronger any way esp thicker metal along the main frame rails it ain't gonna bend much
