The server doesn’t even need to be terraformed. There could be literally groups in 2b2t dedicated to protecting bases, fending off grievers, planting forests and building secret resource centers for new players.

Somehow I feel that the 2B2T fanbase should work on bringing more new players to the server. Large projects like this are impressive, but the goal of scaring off new players is pretty stupid. At some point the server just dies. 2B2T has become a battlefield. If you actively go against new players the basic idea of Minecraft is kind of dead. Apparently people need rules so they can evolve.
Try to join without priority queue and see how "dead" the server is

As cool as it is that they managed to pull this off, theres a big part of me that thinks it was a bad idea. The spawn ocean makes it so nearly all new players drown and therefore makes it no fun for those who aren't veterans. I understand that new young players can be seen as annoying, but without them the server will eventually die out when the old people move on. I feel that this project is going to come back at really bite in the long run.
