- A huge thank you to the Studio 10 team and Jesse Baird, our amazing MC for Darkness to Daylight 2022, for joining us at Queensland Parliament House this morning for a live-cross in advance of tomorrow's live event!
Together with Darkness to Daylight founder - and MinterEllison Special Counsel - Rob Reed, Jesse chatted to Vanessa Fowler from the Queensland Government's Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Council and Lexi Partell from Go1 who will be taking part in tomorrow's event. It was wonderful to see teams from our partners MinterEllison and the Department of Transport and Main Roads there too.
There is nothing quite like seeing our community coming together to support this important cause, and this year we have a record number of participants running and walking together making every step count towards a world free from domestic and family violence.

My condolences to their families and friends. Thoughts go out to all those affected by this tragedy. How on earth can we combat domestic violence in our communities? We definitely need more resources and support. Education is also needed in schools.
So heartbreaking 😢 so senseless. I feel so sorry for Jesse and Luke’s families and friends. As someone that worked fulltime for Network 10 for 20 years in Melbourne, I know what a close family atmosphere that place has. This will have hit Jesse’s 10 family, and no doubt Luke’s Qantas colleagues terribly hard too. How very sad and like I said, senseless 😢
