I do miss the days of ‘lightest to darkest, darkest to lightest’ probably bc the vids were longer. You usually upload quite late where I am so I generally watch as I’m winding down and looking for something relaxing to end the day. I’m here for storytime, it’s your USP. ❤

Fabulous card, Kelly! To answer your question (from my opinion), I think the blend of videos you have been doing so far is just fine. I come for the coloring, the learning and the story time. Now, do I miss story time when there isn’t extra time in the video? Absolutely! It’s a very unique part of your channel that I get excited for. But it doesn’t keep me from coming back to see what you make in the next video because I genuinely enjoy what you have to share anyway. If you want some concrete feedback, you can also try labeling future videos specifically for “coloring + story time” and the others with whatever you are teaching, or focus story time on specific times of the week? This might help you pinpoint trends in the likes/views/comments that way. Hope this helps! ❤

I have watched you for years, and learned so much from you. I have also loved hearing your story time and hearing about you and Peanut, before you re-married. Then hearing about your love for your husband, and your family life. You feel like an old friend, and I’d hate to lose that part of your story. I can learn while I listen to your stories. I love seeing your many talents with other techniques, and I learn a lot from them. But I also love your stories and feel that they set you apart from other card makers on YT. You just have a special knack of telling stories that is engaging and makes us smile.
I think you can strike a perfectly good balance with mixing it up as you have been doing: do some cards with more in-depth technique and no story time, but also do a longer coloring video of a single-layer card and include story time on those cards. Maybe for every two story times, do one technique card.
You are so good with demonstrating new techniques that I feel those videos are just as valuable as those that are more amenable to talking about what is going on in your life. Your stories are priceless and very entertaining :).
I do miss the storytimes but am enjoying seeing a lot of different techniques, and to see you also stretching and growing in your creative, artistic expression. Maybe some of both kinds of videos? Maybe for every so many technique cards you do, you have some that are more coloring and geared to storytime, or vice-versa. Whatever you decide to do, I'm here for it, Kelly! Kelly I rarely do Copic coloring, but I have learned so much from your coloring videos. I feel that what little coloring I do has improved because of your instruction. As for actual cards, I prefer cards with more die cutting. However, I do miss story time when you don't have time to include it. So I like both types of videos. I think you do a good job of balancing the various techniques and videos, so just do whatever feeds your soul at the moment, and we will enjoy being along for whatever ride you take us on.
I think what appeals to me the most is that this is a card that doesn't say male or female recipient. I love how you mix stuff together and come up with a winner every time. Well, maybe not everytime but no one is perfect lol

Kelly, I have come to really enjoy your story time and your copic coloring is really superior. Lots of technique videos on CZcams - but nobody can tell your stories and few can copic color to your level. So to me that is what I come for. That being said, I recognize that this is now your full-time job and you are branching out with your own designs and representing different company’s products so technique videos may be part of the drill for those products. So my suggestion is to do what you need to grow your business/job but please do not lose the essential skills that make the viewer want to tune in and stay committed to your brand.

Although it's true, I love the techniques I do find myself missing the storytime. You are an awesome colorist and card maker. It's a hard decision but I vote for more coloring and storytime.

Hi Kelly, I love your story time videos. Lots of channels teach techniques but only you do story time (that I’m aware of) so I’d be sad if story time disappeared. But it’s also been fun to watch you explore new techniques on screen, so I’d prefer a balance between the two.

Me I'd really like a little more back to coloring with the copics etc with story time which is what drew me to you to begin with and I find I'm really missing that instruction as I could actually get it when you did it and explained it and I was just starting to believe I could maybe do it when things changed. I still like learning these new things from you and I understand it better when you teach it but there are soooo many other videos doing tons of techniques to watch for most of that and for me ,very selfishly, I still really really need all that teaching and reinforcement of how to color and shade things and I alive more story time. Also being able to CASE a Kelly card and have it come out any good makes me feel pretty accomplished 😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤I will always be a number 1 fan of Kelly hoo Hoo Taylor 😘😘😘😘🤣🤣😂🤣😂

Coloring and story time and your good at teaching. Like others have said. It’s what sets you apart and it’s why I watch your channel. I can go to any other channel for techniques which are simply redone with different colors and new products. There really are only so many techniques.
Another thought. I have unsubscribed and stopped watching some extremely well know channels because I get tired of being told how to glue cardstock together etc. basic techniques essentially. It’s old. I can just look at the finished card and not watch. Story time is what is interesting. Not being told every tiny step to create a card.
I enjoy your story time, but I also like to see you make different types of cards. So, I guess you should co what you want and if there is time tell a story! Thanks Kelly, lovely card. I get mad at myself when I cut out tiny layering pieces and forget the adhesive before die cutting.

I have been following you for quite some time and tough at first a little intimated by copics you made it to where it was a joy! but I'm with everyone else! we love it all the coloring, the techniques and I think everyone loves Storytime because it all makes us feel connected even tough we may not be the pro you are it does let us know how you are just another Human just like us! we love to learn about the coloring and techniques and you ! ( so many of us relate to you because of life ) you're just such a good down to earth person that doesn't put on a show or make us feel less because some of us are just beginners , love the giggles learning is so much better when its fun and make you smile and fills your heart with Joy, not just because are so kind to share your talent but because you make us smile ! I admit sometimes after a long day there is nothing better than some Kelly Taylor with Storytime to cheer you up! . keep doing what your doing, times change and so do the techniques we under stand ( you have to make a living as well,) and do storytime when you can! maybe you can alternate ?! :O)

Hi Kelly - First, very cool card as always. I have been with you for a long time, before the 'bug house' ...lol Your Copic coloring brought me to you, and I stayed for the story time. I do miss the coloring & story time, but I realize things change and you can't color all the time. If you can, add a few minutes to your videos and keep us up to date on your life :-)
