    I like your honesty! I had my ACL + meniscus fixed for about 11 months ago. I’m 42 so it takes a bit longer I suppose. Getting stronger and more agile but damn it takes time and requires hard work. Still not the same feeling as in the other leg/knee. Stiffness, soarness comes and goes. Walking is better but it’s hard not focusing on the movement and feeling in the knee. First biodex I had 57% and I got really disappointed. The second test was a 10% increase. Looking forward to follow your progress and honest reports.

      Dangg that is very interesting how different the experience is for everyone. It really is a lot of hard work mentally and physically but with time it all works out. I have noticed the stiffness and soreness for me as well but I also noticed that when I do a proper warmup it always goes away for me after during physical activity. In normal activities day to day activities, my knee has been starting to feel more natural but there are times it doesn't as well.
      Glad to hear you are doing better and making progress. Good luck with the rest of the rehab journey!

    Hey oleg i have been told today that i will need an acl surgery on my left knee and your acl videos have been really helpful and calming and making me feel good about going into surgery but i just have one question right after surgery and a few days later is the pain more or less than when you tore your acl or is it similar to it while lying on the bed, sleeping and walking?

    • @iamolegsavka

      You’re welcome man! Glad I could help💯
      It is different for everyone but for me the pain of the actual injury and the surgery were completely different. The first day or two after surgery, there was very minimal pain because of the painkillers and medicine from surgery. After that, there was more of a stabbing/cutting sensation for a few days but after that pain was not bad at all. It was a bit uncomfortable but wayyyy less painful than I thought it would be. Totally manageable. I remember I had pain right when I woke up from surgery too but they gave me painkillers and I felt fine. Honestly I thought it would be way worse. It wasn’t too bad at all.
      Good luck in surgery and recovery and let me know if you have any more questions!💪

      From the injury, I felt a more soreness and unstableness while from the surgery it was more pressure and stabbing pain. The worst pain was the first few days and then after that it was minimal. Just a soreness and pressure like feeling.

    How did you make your hamstring so strong??? Please tell me which exercises you used… I hope you get your quads strong too! Im pushing so hard and Im impatient I have pain on my other leg… have to take a break but I dont want to

    • @iamolegsavka
      @iamolegsavka  Před 4 měsíci

      Sorry, I missed this comment earlier!
      Basically I think my hamstring got a lot stronger quicker than my quad was because based off PT, I was allowed full range of motion for exercises with my hamstring while I could only go up to 30-40 degrees for quad exercises.
      I also lost a lot of my quad muscle during the injury due to atrophy and laying so maybe I lost more in my quad than my hamstring? At first, I did a lot of double leg exercises as well which I think I put too much emphasis on my good leg without realizing it so we had to switch my plan in PT to do a lot more single leg exercises for my right leg to catch up.

    • @iamolegsavka
      @iamolegsavka  Před 4 měsíci

      Exercises varied depending on the stage of progression I was in but here are some examples of the hamstring exercises I did:
      -Leg Curls
      -Deadlifts
      -Single Leg Deadlifts
