I've been using Traktor for many years but I've just sprung for an S4 mk3 and finally made the leap to Traktor Pro 3. This series helped catch me up with a lot of the stuff I have missed out on up til now

I wish these videos existed years ago! Crazy there’s things I never knew! That map button in cue points to avoid losing a pad to just hold the grid I had no idea!
There’s also a setting in preferences > analyze options > store beatmarker as hotcue which will make it so the grid marker doesn’t take up a hotcue. If you re-analyze the song after turning that on the grid marker won’t take up the hotcue slot (and you can batch re-analyze your songs if you want to change this for all of them at once). Glad you’re liking the videos!

I mapped Pad 6,7 and 8 to High kill,Mid kill and Low kill.Its great for EQ swapping 👍🏾

I have an S2MK3 but I learned a lot! That fade in and out thing😂 so new! My plan is to buy an S4MK3 Cuzz I still feel the tempo pitch is tooooo short on S2 🥺😭

does anybody know how to setup two colours for one jogwheel, as seen in the videos (plum and torquise or something on one wheel)?
We need to add changing tempo range directly on the controller.

When DJing multi format in weddings or whatever we need to be able to change the range from 6% to whatever % so we can easily transition and mix without going into the settings.
The older S4s actually had this option and had two buttons above the tempo fader to change the range. The MK3 doesn't, BUT you can always map it. Why don't you find two buttons you don't use and map to those. Like you could use the Mute and Record buttons above the hotcues, or the favorites / preparation list buttons. Just make sure to choose "overwrite factory settings" when you map it.
@@DeeJayEndo I didn’t really think of that because I literally use every single feature Traktor has to offer when I DJ. I’m thinking maybe shift and Key Lock could work lol
If you don't have a couple buttons to spare, you could also make key commands to change the tempo fader range. Better than going into the preferences.

What I am missing is, being able to set 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 loops. Imagine you press loop in and then change the size not only by 1, 2,4,6 but if you could just add +1 with the beatjump poti.

That's probably just showing you the input signal is hot if I'm not mistaken. Not necessarily a bad thing when you're using timecode vinyl since when you scratch it's giving a lot of signal.
at 3:55 You don't need to change beatjump size. Isn't Shit+Move always 1 Beatjump? Unless you are inside a loop.

Native instruments was ahead of the curb when it came to STEMS... maybe too ahead, but now is the time to make a come back... Hopefully AI stems in the next update?
4:00 or just hold shift. Then you don't need to change your Beatjump amount and just can skip that one beat.

Extremely sad that they didn’t incorporate a simple in/out loop buttons. That automatic loop system is great but misses really cool and fun features like shortening manually a loop and looping vocals on a different way that could make it sound more “live”
I also miss the manual loop in and loop out buttons, but you can always use two buttons that you're not using and remap them to be loop in / loop out. Also, you can shorten (half / double) a manually set loop with the Loop Encoder.
