Canada uses 60Hz like the US, parts of Japan, and the Philippines (unlike most of the world which uses 50Hz)

Just change the circuit board. Shopee got. I did for all the fans in my house. KDK/Panasonic fans suffer from the same problem after about 5-10 years.
