    Fantastic video, all that I needed to know! Thanks a lot :)

    I opened this camera up, the flash accessory detector is a big dedicated series of linkages that essentially pushes a fork over two sets of pads to signal the flash shutter speed

      How does the date mechanism work? Is it a light that exposes onto a small portion of the film?

      @@anthonybrunotheodd I didn't strip it all the way to get into the date wheel roller, but I'm assuming it works the same as the A series date back with just a series of digit masks being toggled in front of a little light bulb

    Hi, where do I buy the film needed for this camera ?

      Lomography is mostly what is available: shop.lomography.com/en/films/110-film
      FPP - filmphotographystore.com/collections/all/110-film - also has Fukkatsu which I haven't used. Urban Outfitters sometimes has Lomo 100 film.

    Any idea if these will accept reloaded 110 carts (do they need the sprocket hole to advance/set the shutter)?

    • @52cameras54
      @52cameras54  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi, I haven't done a rigorous test but if you cut a notch so the cartridge doesn't press the "cartridge inserted" sensor below the frame opening, you can wind and fire without an index hole in the film. HTH

      @@52cameras54 ok, so similar to the Minolta 110 Zoom SLR?

    • @52cameras54
      @52cameras54  Před 3 lety

      @@Exxcalibur186 Exactly. I think that's going to be the case with any of the higher-spec 110 cameras - Minoltas, Pentax Auto 110, Canon ED/ED 20, Kodak Pocket Instamatic 60. I don't know about the Rollei or Minox cameras.

      @@52cameras54 in the Pentax Auto 110 it doesn't matter, you just crank twice and you're good.
