FBI releases new evidence in Trump rally shooting investigation

- The FBI has released new details in its investigation into the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, last month. Among the findings were the FBI has found no evidence that the gunman conspired with anyone else. The FBI also released an image of two explosives the shooter had in his car nearby. Why did CNN break with their past history and decide to air this particular Trump rally live? i think they were tipped off that something big was going to happen.

Trump did announce that "something big" was gonna happen, but who would think it would be anything like that? Not even he.

The real question is 'why was it allowed to happen?'
It wasn’t “allowed to happen”… were there errors, yes. Why wasn’t he taken to the hospital? Why are there zero Dr. reports? I’ve heard it wasn’t even his blood and it was actually splatter from one of the other victims. There’s not even a scar or scab a week later? So many unanswered questions.

How can the FBI draw conclusions when they have not yet broken the encryption on the foreign communications?
Because the technology they have can subvert encryption by having read write access at the cpu hardware lvl access. Encryption has been defeated do to hardware firmware back doors

The Secret Service had multiple opportunities to intervene and many people called attention to the shooter. Real journalists would have how he could get off one shot, let alone 8 before being taken out.

When picture of a weapon is taken the magazine and rounds are always taken all together to show that was the magazine that that weapon used. No second guessing otherwise you can't prove the original magazine was used or what kind of rounds where loaded? Where those common 223 FM? Plastic ballistic tips? Green tips (armour piercing)?

The magazine with the ammunition that was loaded in the magazine how many left in the magazine, seeing how many rounds the magazine held, type of mag is all in one pic. Then individual pics of each. The magazine is not in the picture with the remaining ammunition.

@@trackrunner2410 so from the picture do you know what for sure the mag that was the mag used. Manufacturer, ammunition used? Green tips? FMJ? Remaining rounds left in the mag? Not all in one pic? Proof of the original equipment used? You can't just say it was this "kind "of mag. Everything the firearm was equipped with in one picture.

Secret Service a mess since 2012. Lacks funding. Poor leadership. Too many jobs and not enough agents. Carol Leonning has written a book called Zero Fail: The Rise and Fall of the Secret Service which document these problems from 2012 to 2021. Congress needs to get involved. Replace upper management. Establish clear goals for the agency and increase it's budget. Appoint outsider for recommending solutions. Another outsider to run it. Really shocking how many security incidents have occured over this time.
