Hi everyone. Just a few items to toss out there. First the décor. The Hurricane does come with different wood and color choices. For those looking for washer/dryer prep the Hurricane floorplans with that feature are the 31C, 34R, and 35M. If you need a bunk house with washer/dryer then you'll need to look into Miramar or Challenger. The fresh water fill is not in the wet bay because it is a gravity fill. As for the storage across from the bunks, that wall is the wall to the shower so you can't build into it, and if you build out, you would not be able to access the bedroom. So instead of leaving that space empty, we put a little cabinet on the wall. It's great for little items. Maybe you use it for secret snacks because who hasn't needed a Ho-Ho in the middle of the night? - Thanks, Steve from TMC

Let me say… we want a 34j, the floor plan is great. These went for 119k for the 2021 model, and the 2022 model is now going for 159k. This is a 33% increase in a VERY short period of time. I understand used prices going up like a rocket, but Thor should have prevented this from happening to new models.

The 3 things I like about this motorhome:
    1. the chassis: 22.5" rims and the 3900 lb CCC
    2. the layout: mid-entry door and there's enough room to lean the passenger seat back, big shower, can use most of the RV with the slide out in, and nightstands on either side of the king size bed
    3. the outside kitchen: big mini fridge and plumbed through sink
The 3 things I don't like about this motorhome:
    1. small awning
    2. exposed water connections and the wet bay
    3. the wardrobe for the bunks

I have been posting about the tire size for the past 2 years.
It's nice Andrea has always agreed with me - not mentioning it -
until they finally changed the sizes, but as Matt always says "That's OK"
These tires will give a greater sense of comfort and make the price more agreeable.
    Well done Thor!!
Now get busy on the paint scheme.

    @dontfencemein-rving7439 Před 3 lety +2

Oh No! I think for the first time I don't agree with Andrea on the valances. I really do like them. Please don't fire me.
Dislikes: This is going to be difficult.
#1 I'll agree with Matt on the wet bay. It did look a little unorganized.
#2 The storage drawers under the dinette seats. What's the point? I feel the vents could be moved over to give a deeper drawer.
#3 I like that the bunk bed area lifts up to make an optional wardrobe but please follow Coachmen's design and make it a B.O.W. Bunk, Office, Wardrobe.
    Likes:
#1 Matt, I'm going to disagree with you on this one. I actually liked the faux closet. I think that is perfect for extra pantry space. It looks perfect for cereal boxes, canned goods, and narrow items. Obviously you aren't going to use it for clothes because how would they stay in there when you open the doors. They'd constantly be falling out.
#2 Seriously that bathroom. My biggest fear with bunkhouses is the bath usually suffers. This one was awesome. I'd bet Wil would even give it 4P's and it would pass the tall test.
#3 The living and kitchen area. I think it's configured perfectly for the couple or small family.
#4 Bonus! I wish every company that puts the computer desk in front of the passenger seat would follow this design. It's rectangular and not rounded. It's perfect for the remote office worker.

I know a lot of people criticize Thor quite a bit, but I've got to say that this is really nice! I live by myself in a travel trailer and this would be great for me....I know a bunkhouse model might not make sense, but the bunk area would be a wonderful storage area for me, plenty of closet space, the kitchen counter space is nice, the cabinets look nice, the work station area on the co pilot's side is great, nice dinette, great TV placement, good sized fridge, I like that it has a real oven, the bathroom is nice, bedroom is nice (I'd rather have queen bed since I am by myself and already have linens for it.), great drawer space, love the awning and outside entertainment, and the 22.5 inch wheels and the fact it has Michelin tires. Really, my only dislike is the useless cabinet doors by the bunk area and I'd rather have theater seating. Love the review guys! It sure is better than that Winnebago you reviewed a couple of days ago. It was about 25,000 more and this looks better in every way to me.

Too funny, asking Andrea if she's waving at somebody. Likes: tires, love that they were listening, definitely would buy as soon as I can. This RV has everything I'm looking for and price. Dislikes: nothing. Andrea, the valance is not popping but I feel it's not bad either. It wouldn't get in the way of any decor. That's my personal opinion. LOVE IT!

WOW! Really well-designed RV floorplan - not too big and not too small. I wish the cabinets were a different color (maybe off-white) and Andrea is right, as usual, the valances suck. It's nice to see that manufacturers are installing fewer TVs. The outside kitchen is cool.

Great price for size and features. Huge shower, instant hot water and lots of useful sleeping spaces. Outside kitchen needs at least a microwave to have cooking capability. Storage across from bunks is nearly useless. Awning should cover more of the side to include kitchen.

Hi, I was wondering where you are located. Is there a dealership in California?
    Thank you 😊

    1) Twisty latches on some exterior bins, slam latches on others.... Huh?....WTH? Why?
    2) Exposed and unsecured city water input port.
    3) Curtains in the cockpit.
    4) Mini blinds? Hey thor... 1984 called and they want their decor back.
    5) No TVs in the bunks.
    6) No WD hookup option?

    1) Good CCC
    2) Nice sized shower
    3) Decent storage
Sorry, this seems to be becoming an industry trend, give less, charge more. I don't expect 3 dollar blinds and 1 dollar twist latches on my 160 thousand dollar MH. Say whatever you like, it's 160,000 friggin bucks and you're nickle and diming me? Gimme a break. Once again, I don't consider this middle tier in either design or quality rather it's what I would judge to be among those at the top end of the bottom tier in class A gassers, although it is priced like a mid-tier product. I'm not impressed and think for the money, one can do better.
    Another great video
    Thanks guys
    Cheers

Thor do the most tackiest water bays ever.. looks like a after thought.. no storage for the kids.. Idk what they putting in that wall space with doors I guess their minds.. the refrigerator is kinda small for this floor plan.. should’ve had day and night shades that’s why I think Andrea don’t window valences..

Likes: lots of outside/inside storage; spacious kitchen; solar
Dislikes: no w/d prep; two piece shower; wet bay is a mess but then again it is Thor and they seem to do all the same -cheap and sloppy work.
