- Get ready for the ultimate bikepacking escapade through the breathtaking (literally) landscapes and climbs of Henry Coe State Park! We pedal our way through rugged terrains, lush forests, and serene meadows, testing our strength and finding a new meaning to "just keep going"
We put our resilience and mental strength to the max, as well as our Santa Cruz and Juliana bikes.
Trying something new always brings emotions, but nothing like this. There was no way back, only one exit route, and the only thing we had in our favor was time.
It never got easier, we only had more motivation and curiosity on where the trail was going to take us next.

I've done a lot of backpacking in this state park. This park is no joke. It has a lot of elevation gain and very little water, especially during the summer.

I can tell you from experience that putting your equipment and “CARRY” on the bike makes the experience so much better and easier. More importantly comfort and the ability to carry larger amounts of H2O. BTW before you 2 succumb to the elements and dehydration, the town of Felton is only 20 minutes away!

Thank you! The hills were definitely more than we expected 😅 we got so caught up in how technical the trail might be we over looked how strenuous it was. A good lesson Learned. Absolutely beautiful too.
Henry Coe when it is brown is a bad time to go. Gatta go when it is green. I made the same mistake.
Straight up! We went in the middle of June and that was definitely a risk. July august would be insane.
