A conversation with KITT from Knight Rider

- KITT learns from the conversations I had with him in the past. It's not scripted, all KITTs responses are his own. I've taught him a few responses like when I ask him to introduce himself. He can also control parts of the car like his scanner, lights, steering and breaking.

I love it but it's also quite creepy lol. It would be great if William Daniels had his voice recorded like natural readers and google translate so you could use it. Can't wait to see more :)
CBMI6Studios same here, they should get him to read out all letters and numbers and certain things that will make him able to say any word. I would definitely buy that software. And it would be sweet having him as the sat nav voice.

cool a i software don't worry about what other people say it takes time is just like a kid needs to learn, the cool part is to teach it to drive that's where the fun starts looking forward to more videos
Thanks Melvin. Yes it will take many hours for training but hes coming along nicely. I'll post more vids as soon as I finish up the steering component. I'm currently fabricating a clutch type device that will engage the steering control for the computer

just a suggestion.. can you change the pitch, treble and stuff of Kitts voice to somewhat similar to the og one?
i can adjust those features however none of the adjusting comes close to William Daniel's voice. Someone would have to convince him to lend his voice so it can be converted to a TTS voice. Or find a voice actor who would do it.

It's possible to synthesize any human voice.

Is there no way to use clips of KITT from the show ? Just so it sounds like KITT.
no, we would need to have William Daniels lend his voice to create a TTS voice file. Then I could use that in the A.I. software I have.
Vic Knight - Couldn't you use voice clips already used in the original show? Meaning scan his voice pattern through a computer then just use that as the sample voice?

The only other option is getting someone who can impersonate William. Daniels.
kylethedalek i wouldn't use clips from the show, those are just clips which require generic commands. my software generates real responses and uses tts voices
