Great reaction video! I love all songs from this band. One of the best metal/rock bands. Someone has to put things in the right order. Lovebites 2.0 does not exist! This band is LOVEBITES! Bassist Miho Rosana voluntarily left the band on August 17, 2021! And now the band returns to the metal/rock scene with new bassist Fami. I've been a metalhead for over 30 years and I've never heard of Helloween being called Helloween 2.0 after Hansen left Helloween. Or after Kiske left from Helloween, Helloween 3.0!! You can both do a reaction video to any song by this band. You will never both be disappointed. This band has great talent, ideas and potential. Both new songs are divine. Slow and slow song...I want to add A FROZEN SERENADE to one of my masterpieces
Add me to the list of those suggesting Epilogue as your next Lovebites song. As has been mentioned, this song was composed by the vocalist, Asami, in collaboration with a keyboardist/composer named Mao who is also a producer of the band. This is the 5th song to be composed by the Asami/Mao combo. Asami is also the primary lyricist of the band, including her 5 songs. The 1st song composed by Asami/Mao is Epilogue which is on their 2nd full length album called Clockwork Immortality released in December, 2018. The former bassist, Miho, composed 10 songs with Mao and one song with Miyako, the stage left guitarist. Miyako has been the primary composer for Lovebites and, except for the song with Miho, she composes alone. She hasn't worked with Mao and, in fact, they have a friendly rivalry going in the band. The upcoming album will have 10 tracks and it is likely that 5 will be Miyako compositions and the other 5 will involve Mao, including, of course, Judgment Day.

The "E-songs" are a bit slower, like "Edge of the World", "Epilogue" and "Empty Daydream". Also "A Frozen Serenade" is more on the symphonic metal side with slower part with accoustic guitars and piano in it.

As you’re really new to the band it’s understandable that you haven’t really had time to acclimatise to the recent changes. But basically, the founding member, the bassist, left 16 months ago. So the bassist “killing it” is now the baby of the band, Fami, aged 20. She’s been playing bass on her own channel since she was sixteen and she is ridiculously proficient, ridiculously talented and a bundle of joy and energy. She’s the missing piece. This is Lovebites 2.0. I guarantee that the forthcoming album will be metal’s finest hour.

@@AMusicianandaJerk In fact, not much has changed. If you mean Midori (blonde, guitar), then a slightly different hairstyle. They are all crazy, including Fami (new bass). You just didn't listen to LOVEBITES much. They have about 50 original songs. A new album will be released in February 2023 (+10 new songs)

Asami wrote this song and Mao helps Fami the new bassist is featured for the 1st time on a full song.
Supplemental information. Mao Yamamoto is not an official member of Lovebites but he's been helping them in composition from the beginning. He is a keybordist of Light Bringer and other Japanese bands, and active as an arranger and a composer.

Bassist is new
You want something slower? There are some ballads, and you have got some suggestions. Not my style. I think other bands make better ballads. But, I think you shall look at "Set the world on fire". It is not so slow really, but it has a more interesting groove. It is not 100% straight forward. It is more rally, 100% forward on winding roads in the woods. The song "raise some hell" is also more varied. Another thing you can do is looking at some things they played in the Abyss, their training studio. They are not dressed up and there is no audience, but they play more free. Kind of fun. There are songs that I have never heard about also played in the Abyss.
Some people recommend Epilogue. It is a very slow ballad. It has fantastic guitar solos and piano. Totally outstanding. But the singing do not appeal to me. I do not think Asami has an epic ballad voice. That's my opinion. Your milage may vary.

Hmm it's been a month since your last Lovebites and prior to that you have only done one other song, so in reality, this will only be your third song most reactors have at least 20 songs in their list. You really don't know much about Lovebites and the reasons why they have been on hiatus for ex amount of time. It's not a piano but a synthesizer, Miyako (long black hair on the V guitar) writes about 50% of the songs the rest are done between Asami singer and a friend of the band Mao, Midori the other guitarist writes some songs, as well as the drummer, wrote one. To me, it’s their most unique sounding song out of their power ballads because the first two thirds of the song (to my ears) has a more R&B vibe in the main verse/chorus melodies (ala ALICIA KEYS).
Given that vocalist Asami comes from an R&B background, this song (which she wrote with band collaborator Mao) truly showcases that side of her. If ALICIA KEYS were to perform an actual R&B/Metal hybrid Power Ballad, I imagine it would sound exactly like “A Frozen Serenade”.

The industrial mass-production songwriting is why American "top-whatever" is so dead and empty. I'll take a band that write their own stuff any time. In this case, it's the five ladies (Asami, Miyako, Midori, Haruna and now Fami, formerly Miho) and a dude named Mao Yamamoto who has collaborated with them since the beginning. They also play everything including their own keyboard backing tracks.
They do have slower songs, I would prefer you look for them yourselves! 😎
