I want to give a mini testimony. After watching this it pushed me to throw away my make up. I was a slave for believing that I needed it to feel beautiful. As soon as I threw it away I felt this sense of freedom and that the chains were broken and I began to cry. God is soo good.

j branham i know this question wasn’t directed to me but maybe i can help. 3 years ago i was talking seriously with this guy, & was with him for selfish reasons. After 6 months there were signs (I believe from God) that told me he wasn’t the one, but I was too scared to let go because my flesh needed to be what I thought was “loved”. Since I couldn’t break it off, something major happened where I just had to end it. 3 almost 4 years later, I am still single, and honestly enjoying every minute of it. The first two years were very difficult because I didn’t think another guy would ever be enough for me, but being single gave me the chance to grow spiritually and focus on God. I am not necessarily looking for anyone, but i’m letting God use time to bring the right one into my life & build me to be what he wants me to be. I guess my answer is to seek God and become comfortable with waiting on your partner in the process. ❤️

I don’t usually comment on videos but I felt it necessary in this case. I thoroughly enjoyed this message up until about 35 minutes into the message. It was actually a spot on confirmation of a word I needed to deliver to a friend. However, when you told the story about when you sold your wife’s car without her consent, my heart literally dropped and broke on the floor. I totally understand your message that her father had provided an exit strategy but regardless, you should have had a conversation with your wife instead of controlling her personal decision in the Lord’s eyes. The reason I am commenting on this is because I have a personal connection to being controlled in my life. I have a personal connection to someone attempting to control my thoughts and actions in order to make their life play out in the way they saw it. You were wrong and even though you gave her half of the proceeds...SO WHAT?! Your job was to hear her heart and act on it. If you earnestly heard her heart, you would never again need to worry about an exit strategy. I would encourage you to revisit this time in you and your wife’s life together. Ask her how it made and makes her feel today. If it is settled, so be it. If not, hear her heart today and try to understand how you would feel if the shoe were on the other foot.
I just asked someone else about their thoughts on that subject, understand it now in a more broader context. Elimination of the exit strategies is a good idea but now I see it may have been over zealous. Hope God sees them throught nevertheless! 🙏

It was almost as if the wife was an accessory to his life and her concerns did not matter.
Hi Joy! I too have had the same life struggles, and have worked hard to get out of those controlling situations. The first thing I thought when he explained how he sold the wife’s car was, “is he a Narcissist?” However he ministered a good message and I understand the point he was trying to make, but where was his evaluation of what she was complaining about? Maybe he did yield to her concerns but never spoke about that in his explanation, who knows! But I too thought that was really controlling seening he didn’t consult her about it first.
He most definitely needs to explain the outcome of that. That doesn't seem like God's version of marriage. He didn't even mention how HE changed to MEET her need on top of his ridding of the "exit plan". In reality, as long as SHE FEELS the need to go, there are plenty of options.

I can totally relate with you but lets understand the fact that he didn’t give us the full story as time was probably not on his side or cos he was driving somewhere with the story
I am sure it’s a story they both laugh at now whenever they remember it and I want to believe for them to be 11years down into it they worked it out fine and those days are past them now and they both continue to learn from their mistakes and better their marriage
Plus following the story the whole scenario happened at the early stage of their marriage he sold the car as that was the best way he could think of then cos she already had what her dad said at the back of her mind so he took a decision to remove the exit plan first and I’m sure they talked it over and things got better and all
And concerning him not having to worry about the exit strategy if he heard her heart, truth be told if their a dent somewhere that’s what the devil magnifies in our hearts, he could have told her and they coulda made joint decision to sell it but as long as the car is around and those were the statements that surrounds it trust me trying times would always arise and that’s what the devil would use that fact in diverse ways
Anyway, he didn’t tell us the whole story so I fell we shouldn’t judge him or his action neither should we let that determine our lives, the message was powerful if you don’t like some take the ones that ministered to you, omit the errors. Nobody is perfect but just like he said put God first in all things so concerning your being controlled and all pray about it God would turn things around for your good. Amen 🙏

This was a great message!!! I don’t want anyone to lose the word that God spoke because of his transparent message towards the end. The only thing his transparency showed us was that Pastors aren’t perfect either, which is something we already knew. Being transparent is appreciated but acknowledging (or in this case, a lack thereof up until the car story) your insecurities or missteps are too different things.
BluDrop5 you’re right. But I will say this, it’s easy for both of us to say that from the outside looking in. I think as long as they’ve handled it behind close doors, ultimately that’s all that matters. Do I condone his actions, no, but neither am I condemning him. We all have issue and insecurities, the difference is his insecurities are magnified due to the calling that’s on his life.

so can we have a discussion about how selling her car is/was manipulative and not love. the joke about tracking on the phone not really funny. I was totally here for this message but we have to call out things that we have made normal that are quite dangerous for women in relationships.
