I strongly suspect that Keeble's the one who's been shot, it'd be too obvious if it was Kat. There'd probably be a dispute between them either leaving Keeble to die or saving her

@@LightLife4 Its probably the most logical outcome - he gets shot but only has minor injuries. Keeble realises the error of her ways - she knows the game is up, confesses and hands herself in and we never see her again. Billy gets released due to her involvement in setting him up. Then Cue lots of angry confrontations involving Phil and Kat before they get married in a few weeks and Tommy walks her up the aisle. Just my theory!
@Martin Mitchell one of the things that both Keeble and Phil have in common is that they're both strong willed and determined. They'll keep on at it until something else stops them

My theory (In light of Phil not rendering a straight-forward or in fact a happy ending in the world of EE-Land) Kat gets shot; then is treated in hospital; this drags on and she leaves for a new life away from Phil and Alfie just for an entire clean break. OR: Keeble is shot and Kat could face imprisonment as a result (maybe a case or self-defense). Either way: a feeling of more knots to try and untangle.

I'm guessing it's Keeble who got a grievous wound, though I wouldn't be surprised if it was Kat, since this would make a good turning point for her to leave Phil, and for Phil to get revenge on Keeble.
Leave Phil -- and do what? Have her and the kids move where? Go to Alfie? Give me a break. He's homeless. Kat, Tommy, Bert and Ernie would all have to live with The Slaters in a Panesar flat. And remember: Alfie has no job. Where would Kat work? Phil's money bankrolled Kat's Cabs. Kat, Alfie and crew would be living on LOVE.
@@carlosrobbins9178 Not that leaving Phil on a semi-regular basis prior to this was a huge issue for Kat to do herself... oh and that's not getting into the fact that Phil tends to attract danger and end up indirectly hurting those he gets too close to, highlighted by the episode itself, I might add. Even if Kat left Phil, it wouldn't be out of character for Phil to keep financially supporting the family for the time being, he's a dangerous influence and he knows it, but he still probably loves the kids, if nothing else. It's also extremely obvious that the show keeps trying to nudge Kat and Alfie together.
Do you believe that Phil X Kat will be the end all be all pairing for either of them? I certainly don't, given this show's track record. I'm just giving a theory, not a want.

that would be more or less the same as what is happening in Emmerdale right now, with 11 year old Kyle grabbing the gun to try to prevent his Dad being hurt, but was charged at by the other guy causing Kyle to accidently shoot and kill ..

I want Keeble gone for good she has gone far enough.
She's simply trying to get justice for her father's murder. Phil would do the same. But of course she'll probably be murdered too because only the Mitchell's brand of justice is allowed to happen.

Im guessing it's keeble that got shot but could be kat or even tommy it's hard to say because they could have filmed different possibilities of what happened then just picked what one so it would keep people guessing but most would probably get it wrong all depends on what they thought would be best going forward I guess anyone of the three could make for a different direction so it's difficult to guess but I think they've had way to many people getting shot over the years involving phil in some way they need to think of other ways to kill people rather than a bullet

No you're not. Sharon needs to tell him to get over his bruised ego (as Karen told him) and her son needs his father.

@@itsshaaa3818 It's natural for an actor who has constantly appeared in the majority of the episodes for 9 years in a row to be relived to quit his job and saying "he'll never return" for now, but maybe in a year or two he might change his mind and return to EastEnders.
As far as I'm concerned Mick is 'presumed dead' and unless we see his body he's still alive somewhere but suffering from a coma or amnesia.

A but of topic but for almost 20 years kat and Phil had hardly any scenes or storylines together. It's only the last 3 years the,writers suddenly seemed to match them together.

This show is so depressing.
The only person Phil has killed was a homeless person in Frank's car lot, after he set it on fire. That incident led to his drinking problems (if my memory serves me correctly).
Whenever he makes a threat to kill somebody - it's all bark and no bite. No wonder Alfie threatens Phil....safe in the knowledge Phil is a toothless tiger. Alfie stole money from Phil - and what has Phil done, nothing ! Alfie is more of a gangster than Phil is !
Phil always makes threats and doesn't follow through. It's boring now. Alfie is a creeper though. Probably my least favourite character.
