Those ones in Washington used to talk, too (I think at least one of them might still do it, actually.) The Schindler elevator voice and chimes will always be nostalgic to me, because those exact ones were the very first talking elevators I ever experienced!! That prominent deep rumble of the motors on these is quite nostalgic for me as well. Lots of happy memories attached to this model elevator. For some reason, I remember those having mismatched doors, with center one in the bank of 3 having 2 speed side opening doors, and the side ones having center opening doors.
