- .......and we talk about Spring Skin with the fabulous Dr. Ahmed, The Aesthetics Doctor. Save your money and spend on skincare rather than facials is just one of the top tips I came away with. There wasn't much 'out and about' but I have bought some new spring/summer outfits to show you and I've thrown in a headscarf tutorial! Hope you enjoy it. I am so grateful for all your love for little Jack, it really helped me through a very tough couple of weeks. Suzi x

We discussed the collagen injections I had called Ellanse. We chatted about how important Factor 50 is even if it's drizzling and grey! He recommended a sunscreen called Helioccare which I can't wait to try. He also recommended using a good retinol at night his medical grade retinol is called Tretinoine, prescription only, and he mentioned always using a very good Vitamin C for the daytime. As well as your usual face creams for night and day!

I lost my pug of 16 years a few years ago. I still have her little bed she slept on. I know eventually I will let it go. Just not yet. I’m so sorry about jack. What a life he had. All those walks and dips in the ocean and wildlife . He had a wonderful life!! He will always be in your heart, and times of tears, but he was a lucky little guy, you gave him a wonderful life. Not all dogs get that love and life. Bless you❤

The Boden skirt looks great! I'm partial to denim and those shorts are so cool! I know it must be hard to have haters comment. What those haters are 100% missing is that so much beauty radiates from within. It's a kind of beauty you cannot buy and eating a grape for breakfast will not get you that beauty. I feel your pain Suzi! For people who have never had a dog who think they are just creatures they don't understand that we dog lover feel like our pets are little people who never grow up and are always our babies even when they are old and die. When our dogs die our feelings are likely to be all mixed up but grief is the deepest sadness that we can feel. These feelings may change from day to day and will vary from mild to pure grief, feeling sorry for them that they are gone, missing them so much until we come to terms with their death. My sister and her husband who couldn't understand why I loved dogs so much ended up looking after one in their family on a daily basis and they both can't believe how they have their own personalities and how one ends up loving them so much. You were an amazing mum to Jack and so tolerant with him as he got older and lost his sight. You must enjoy your life now as you couldn't have done a better job. I think you were so right about the feather - I think it was Jack. There is more to this world than we understand.
That remark the rude lady said about you was terrible. There are some NASTY PEOPLE our there and I hope she reads this.

You are totally right about the feather and I do hope you saved it. Jack left that for you because he stayed for one week to make sure you were okay and then he knew that he and you were okay and he Went Over the Rainbow Bridge to join all the other animals . He is romping and running and chasing and jumping and having an awesome time because he knows that now he is all pain-free and young as a pup and you will be fine. So he was able to move on. I hope you bring comfort and all the wonderful memories you have of him and the incredible care you gave him all those years

I still talk to our darling Lily dog and she died 14 months ago. (Actually the best dog in the world imo 😆) I always say night night. We borrow our neighbours dog every week day when they are at work. He’s fabulous.

I am so impressed with your youthful vibe. Subscribed to get some inspiration from you as I can see how confident you are and I really lack that when it comes to fashion. I’m so self conscious I have a closet full of new clothes I love and am too embarrassed to wear them. I love a classic style and at 73 that seems appropriate and nothing that will stand out really but I’ve not been able to afford nice clothes until now and it’s not what my friends are used to seeing. I was so sorry to hear about little Jack. No words seem enough somehow but just to say it will get easier over time and you will be able to think of him with a smile. I've been through it twice and they are not forgotten. I've another little dog now who drives me mad 😂 but I love her to bits. Love the skirt with the jumper 🌹❤️🐶

I love the new clothies and it's so good to see the sea and the sun to lift your spirits. I am taking care of my sister's 2 dogs, 2 cats and one parrot while she's on vacation. It's like a vacation for me but I drive 160 miles roundtrip every other day to go home and take care of my kitties but I like driving too. Her home is in the country in Jupiter, Florida and I wish I could move here but it's too far from my colony of cats I feed in Miami.

Those kind of people are so miserable and not worth thing about!! I had my last dog that passed I had him cremated and I’m so glad I did. It seem that it gave me some kind of comfort. When my Yorkie leaves me and he’s only almost 5 years old I plan to cremate him also. I pray he has a long life!! Little Jack is a happy little man and he’s feeling no pain!!🤗❤️

Suzi, the first few weeks are the hardest weeks. I swear when my dog died I would see her out of the corner of my eyes alot that first week and I also thought it was her saying goodbye as she passed away in her sleep so we didn't get to say goodbye. Also, not sure if dog shelters in England do so this, but here in the U.S. some shelters love to have people volunteer to walk dogs to help them get used to leash walking. Thought that might help with your grieving process and also help some doggies 😊 🐕

Benji, Maltese cross Shih-tzu is 16 in a couple of weeks. He is so well though and loves his short walk every day still. We dread the day we have to make a decision but right now, we are enjoying every day with him. 😢
