Whats really impressive that a bunch of people probably missed is that he still got an S rank after about 30 or so misses, that means his form is REALLY on point.

The original commenter was saying tempex can’t fight because he needs a weapon, then the rest goes on yadda, yadda, yadda, meaning that it isn’t can. As a viewer, the custom version has a lot more visual flair and fits the song more.
However as a player I prefer the official one since there isn't as much going on which makes it a lot easier for me to read.
I feel that the rhythm of the custom-map works best with the song
It's a bit more chaotic at times too, which fits the song as well.

Overkill is far from the hardest

It was amazing how well you did. I can't even comprehend moving my arms that fast, let alone having to switch colors from time to time. You did an absolutely amazing job! (I love your voice by the way)
Well as songs get ridiculously fast you begin to move your wrist more and arms less, at most he's probably not moving more than his forearms a whole lot
I'm still not good enough to beat overkill yet though so the skill is definitely there
@@eldonwilliams6991 depends on how you play, personally i play using both forearms and wrists for maps like milk crown. You may be different but I have been using around the same amount of forearm as i did when i started using wrists

The fan made level is so intense. It's amazing. It makes me want to get Beat Saber even more.
I prefer the custom track of overkill coz its longer and has good patterns whereas the dlc one has horrible patterns from the start until the end of the song after the ‘somebody scream’ thing plays

Nah I feel like the dlc packs have been pretty good so far quality wise but I definitely prefer the imagine dragons pack to the Monstercat pack
I find that's kind of how all of the beatsaber created e+ levels are. The patterns just feel and look disgusting. There's a weird flow I can never put my finger on

Not gonna lie, after playing both maps, I've only completed Overkill.
Reality check isn't that hard per se, it's just awkward. There's a lot of walls and odd block placement, wile Overkill is speed and hand eye coordination.
I've completed Overkill 4 times simply because I enjoy playing the map, while reality check is just wierd, though I will get it eventually.

I honestly can't express how good this song sounds, I don't think anyone could understand how just frikin great it sounds for my ears. Ive had this song stuck in my head. Coming back, it sounded even better than I remember. Even more satisfying with the custom song *and* you so smoothly beat saber. I need to get that oculus link asap.

As someone who has played both, i think the custom is WAY more cool to view. Bit in overall play, the monstercat pack is just a bit more fun. More fluid on motion

honestly man... even a year later. This video just brings my so much joy every time i watch you play nuketime's map. It's also the first video I go to when someone asks me to explain Beat Saber. It's one of my favorite videos on youtube. The raw energy, the headbopping and sword flourishes, the craziness of the map. Just brilliant stuff.

Dude full combo or no full combo, that was absolutely amazing to watch!! Also I can tell that the Nuketime custom map seemed a lot more faster paced and didn’t leave you time to recover that often compared to the original map. But I swear when I get my VR stuff and Beat Saber I’m gonna try to master Nuketime!!! Lol and I can already feel the frustrations coming

All I can say is wow. God that was amazing. I can’t even comprehend how you do it. Most other videos of watching people do this they move their heads a LOT and it hurts to look at but you don’t really move yours very excessively and I love the little motions you do in between the “breaks” of the songs. This whole level makes you feel like a badass. The vocals about the resistance, the heavy metal parts, the brutal drops, and the near inhuman speeds you must move at. Even with the way each movement at the drops is repetitive, it feels like you are slicing some kind of beast unimaginably fast.

Okay, i like them both. But for different reasons so just...hear me out. I liked the seconds reason just on the fact it looked easier. But, i liked watching the first one on the fact it was entertianing, more specifically YOU are entertaining to watch. The head bobs the waves you do with your hands, all the other quirky motions you do between the to notes. That's what has kept me watching your videos. That's what got me to subscribe. That and the fact you don't care if you post a video of you playing a song amd not 100%ing it. I see the multiplier counter reset. I've played enough quitar hero to know that means you've missed a note. Lol. Just, i think that's awesome and keep up the good work.

I prefer how the official DLC one has more filling to it, it follows even smaller rhythms and to me it just adds that little bit of interaction that I feel the first was missing
HOWEVER!!! I prefer the pattern styles of nuketimes, it looks more appealing to me, and seems to be a bit more difficult with how it jumps, but that could just be me.
conclusion: if someone was to mix the best of both, it'd be nut worthy on this sacred month (yes, I'm late.)
This level takes some big skill because i tried it and beated it but to do it somewhat perfect is insanely hard! Keep it up, man!
And this is why I love watching Tempex. Awesome person, and a brilliant mind, but the moment that VR headset comes on, dude turns into a machine and I love it

I was never able to beat overkill on the monstercat pack. I suck at the last bit where they go up and down instead of the same direction, and the beginning bit, where I can never do the red properly.
You are right on the original Version the end Part is difficult as hell and also the Intro Part but i must say that the mid Part of the original (monstercat Version) is pretty easy If you can Play Songs on expert +
There is _nothing_ more satisfying than getting through a ridiculously hard part of the play through and then seeing you didn't miss a single box via the combo number

Imagine swinging your arms faster then a fucking fan (yes i calculated it and the total swing speed of his hands where faster then a cheap fan) and coardinate it to swing it in the right directions, No fucking human would do that in a full combo, it's just impossible, This shit that he did was the peak of speed that a human could swing his arms, if someone was crazy enough to learn, and play beat saber with his legs, it would be somewhat possible to swing even faster, but then the coardination would be not existant, This play was the peak of beat saber and i don't think someone would beat that any time soon.
