Good and Bad infrastructure video 3

Tom went out to Rothervalley with someone to see if the Easyrider trike was right for them. They loved the trike but found that they were limited to where he could go!
You may remember this barrier from our video 1. We have been in contact with Rothervally and Rotherham city council but no action has been taken as yet.

The last time I went to Rotherham Valley, there were so many of these gates it tied me out, and Disable people don't stand a chance. we still need more bike lanes it's like they totally forgot about the Disabled the transport security isn't doing anything about cycling he's only bothered about trains and buses and that's not working out well for Him. 0:07

I hate those bloody A-frames with a passion! My gf and I are both able-bodied but she has a 23kg e-bike and trying to wrestle that through an A-frame is bad enough! You have to hoik it onto its back wheel, then lift it 6 inches or so as you try to follow it through because the bars don't quite clear the frame 🙄
A lot of those were made by a firm called Fearne Truck Bodies, which tells you all you need to know about the amount of cycle-specific design expertise that went in to these things..!

Yep! Hard to get through with a pram or wheelchair too.
