I wish this was longer! I loved that you let her speak with out interrupting like most interviewers do. I love how she tells her stories! Great interview!!!
Thank you, its hard to lay back. Cause you get so excited talking to someone like her. I can see how it is easy to talk over her. Trust me I usually have a tendency to talk over people. Im working on it 😂 Unfortunately CZcams is Not pushing out our shows and the average person watches maybe 5min. The full episode is in our VIP patreon, its where we do the show unedited. Thanks for watching.
@@artistsonrecord In that vein, I wonder if May has any plan to sell DVD's or something after it shows in theaters, since I doubt I'll have a chance to be in the right pkace at the right time to see it in a theater. Streaming, I have this feeling Yoko's employees may block just as Yoko was suspected of blocking Julian's airplay after his first few blockbuster hits, Valotte, and Too Late for Goodbye. But just selling a DVD or download might get good response?
Perhaps if my first serious boyfriend had been a musical icon like John Lennon, I would also be in denial over the fact that my naive 22-year-old self was being used as a placeholder by a rich famous entitled couple in the middle of marital problems. Why else would she delude herself into believing he abruptly returned to his wife over deportation concerns. Other than that, I think this is an amazing woman whom John Lennon didn't deserve.
I’m finding that America is falling in love with May Pang as her story becomes more widespread. Somehow she seems to represent a crucial point of connection between Americans and this British icon who loved America as much as it loved him. And I love the fact that the best interviews are coming from fellow New Yorkers who speak and jest in the same idiom as her own (and I say this as competitive Philadelphian!). Great spirit, great interview. We’re all lucky that May was the American who got the closest to this unique voice from across the Atlantic.
Have these photos of when i met John and May on March 4, '74 at Riviera Hotel in Las Vegas..a great memory..along with Harry Nillson and Mal Evans..never published or released..gotta get on the project! Anyone interested let me know!
This was around the time John was back in the game networking for the album Double Fantasy, Yoko was older than John and Sean was a little boy still so she couldn't exactly be with John in LA where most of his collaborations were taking place, I do believe John agreed to this May Pang affair because she was easy to control due to her age and Yoko was desperate to be on an album with John and would have given her right arm to assist in getting John's artistic juices flowing again...May was used and she should have sued them for sexual harrassment in the work place. May never stopped being their employee, Yoko constantly called and checked up on her and John like 10 times a day, if that isn't awkward I don't know what is...May, if you're reading this if Cosby was able to be indicted for rape after 20 years maybe it's not to late for you to sue that old wannabe for sexual harrassment by an employer, if it wasn't for you, Double Fantasy ( the irony in the title of that album) would have not happened, John was a pervert and Yoko a narcissistic nutter that I believe had a hand in John's early demise, why you ask because John died just when Double Fantasy was released and was a success, she stood to gain all proceeds of the record because it was considered their album.

everybody gotta make a livin
everybody's gotta make a living
She was very hippie and cute.
Do you have a date for the uk for this IDocumentary
Streaming from today..finally
John is harder to like the more I learn about him,he used Mai and ran home to mummy.
Sadly he wasn’t a nice man at all. The very fact that he had very little to do with his own son tells you all you need to know.
