I can not believe how close your hands are to that saw blade, it is only a momentary slip and you have no fingers. I have been working with wood and machinery for over sixty years so I know what I am talking about, that is just foolhardy behaviour. Thank you for posting if only to show how not to use power tools.

New project for you: make a wooden pusher for your saw!
As a DIYer myself with very bad habits and clumsiness to boot I've had my fair share of tools bite me for handling them wrong. If your saw catches you slipping, though, it's not going to be something you can crazy glue back together. Be careful out there! I wouldn't want your next tutorial to be "how to stitch fingers back on" 😨

Your ideas of drill bit stand is great and practical but just using free hand during sawing is dangerous, just imagine young people see and follow and hurting themselves please use safety in public media thank you sir.
